And to note, if the figure that put up the Barrier is in the PW range, the Barriers do not fall and will still affect the AoE.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

I'm not saying you're, but where can I find this (I checked the players guide, but I could have overlooked it)? Because I'm sure this will come up at my next tournament if someone plays orange. Thanks

Here's the passage from the Player's Guide:
Quote
While Pulse Wave ignores powers and abilities, it does not counter them. Therefore, terrain created as a result of using a power is considered terrain and affects Pulse Wave normally, even if the character generating that terrain is within range of the Pulse Wave.
Pineappolis: Periodically failing to devise a worthwhile signature since 2010.
Would a character using Pulse-Wave occupying a square of Hindering Terrain placed by Smoke Cloud still receive the -1 to the attack value?
The hindering terrain still stays but pulse wave ignores hindering terrain.
"these lines of fire ignore all game effects except for walls, blocking and elevated terrain."
Since the line at the bottom of smoke cloud is:
Characters that occupy these terrain markers modify their attack value by -1 unless they can use Smoke Cloud or ignore hindering terrain for line of fire purposes.

I would say they don't get the -1 to attack.
It says the lines of fire ignore all game effects(hindering)....is that the same as a character that occupies these terrain markers and ignores hindering terrain for line of fire purposes?
I'd say a character that possesses avengers initiative T.A. or improved targeting/ignores hindering would ignore smoke cloud markers, but I'm on the fence about a pulse waver?
Smoke cloud is a game effect. Pulse wave's line of fire ignores all game effects except for walls, blocking and elevated terrain(and stuff that can't be ignored).
