The Power Battery may be placed on the Pacific Ocean map and any squares it occupies will be considered clear terrain.

Subject: Green lantern Battery
"Setup - During the beginning of the game, the Power Battery is placed in 4 squares of clear terrain in your starting area. The Power Battery affects line of fire, can use its powers and abilities, is damaged and KO'd as if it were a character. Characters, objects, and blocking terrain may not occupy the same squares as the Power Battery. The Power Battery is immediately KO'd when the last friendly character is defeated."
The setup ability doesn't tell you to place the battery "like a character", does this mean it cannot get the map-expansion benefits (like treating terrain as clear) that a multibase would get?
What happens if I am playing the battery, and my opponent picks the pacific ocean map?
does the battery just never get placed on the map?
If it isn't placed on the map is it scored? (it's rules for scoring indicate "no", since characters are not scored when removed from the map)
Can it still be given actions to hand out constructs if it cannot be placed on the map? (nothing in the rules appears to prohibit this for the battery)
how exactly does this all work?
Thought people would be interested to know this like I was.
It looks like we treat the battery like a multibase for beginning of game placement.
This was an exception that they had to make for very specific occurrences. This was a question that had already been asked and answered. This is another reason why we need the HCRealms rules team to get up and running quickly.
Nice to know that they are still answering questions though. I guess they really do just dislike me...

And me. I was starting to wonder if they were taking a hiatus or if they bumped my questions up to a higher person as I haven't gotten a response in a week. :-s
Now it makes me wonder if they blocked me or if they're just ignoring me, but it's kind of nice to know that I'm not alone. LOL!
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

That is exactly how it has been for me as well. I might just need to get a new email address (or five) for this

I think it just depends on the questions.
I have a couple that I sent in over 2 weeks ago I haven't heard back on.
This one took less than a day.
Occasionally I'll get answers within an hour.
This is one that has come up a surprising amount, and is super-important for ROC events where the Pac-ocean map is totally legal, so I figured I would put this out there.
