I am still tossed on this. Going to run events so I will get a token amount but giving WotC any cash these days after that abomination they called 4th ed is really hard

I'm pretty sure they confirmed that there would be Tournament Boosters for D&D when it first was announced and when they started talking about the Star Trek ones.

So now they're offering free money to a third game company? One that flopped on the minis endeavor? Umm, no. I hate WK and force down the nausea every time I buy a STAW product but I hate WotC even more. It'll be a cold day in hell before WotC gets any more of my hard-earned cash, even from a third party.

Anybody been able to schedule this yet? I tried and it didn't show up in the templates for me.

And any word on the cost of the kits and boosters?

WotC? Attack Wing D&D is actually a WK product, isn't it? Its on the WK website.

They licensed the D&D brand from WotC (or WotC contracted with WK...whichever). They are releasing the Attack Wing sculpts as D&D figures as well.

Stores are gonna be able to buy 10 boosters bricks of blind boosters for their events...This comes from the PDF fom Wizkids...

Participants in the D&D Attack Wing Tyranny of Dragons program will have the option to purchase Exclusive Limited Edition Attack Wing version of Tiamat Figures.

o For every month six OP kit a store orders, the store will have the option to order up to two of these Tiamat figures.

o The Tiamat figure is not directly tied to the OP Program and as a result the Tiamat figure is not covered under the PPLA. This means that it will be in retail friendly packaging and can be sold to the public at any time after the release date.

o The Tiamat figure will be released prior to the Month 6 kit. Therefore, retailers will be able to sell and display the Tiamat figure before the conclusion of the OP Program. PLEASE NOTE – Any customer that purchases a Tiamat figure CANNOT use the figure or any cards that come with it in ANY D&D Attack Wing Tyranny of Dragons OP tournament.

o Month six OP kits do NOT have a grand prize in them but WizKids recommends that one of the Tiamat figures is utilized as the grand prize.

o Regardless of if a store plans on using a Tiamat figure as the grand prize for their D&D Attack Wing Tyranny of Dragons OP program they should notify their players of their intentions during month one of the event and plan their entry fees for their events accordingly.

o Stores that order OP month 6 kits, receive Tiamats and then cancel their OP month 6 kits will be restricted in future programs.

 Blind boosters for D&D Attack Wing Tyranny of Dragons OP sealed play will also be available. They will first be available for month two of the program, and we expect to have inventory until at least month four. However, boosters will only be available while supplies last and will be limited based on OP kit and general D&D Attack Wing purchases.

I am kind of excited now and have set up a Facebook group for it. Figured if people are interested and need info I can get it set and out there.

Looks interesting, but just reinforces my initial impression that I can't afford to collect DDAW. There will be way too many LE game elements for my wallet to bear.

Well I do like the fact that Tiamat will be available for purchase after the event is over. Nice stating it right away

It will be available but, stores can only order 2 for each sets of OP kits that they buy for the storyline...
