I have run into a few situations with a few different WoL figures that I am hoping I can get some help on.
1) If I assign a construct to a figure at the start of the game (due to their native trait, not from a power battery), does that change the point value of the figure for purposes of team construction or any powers that refer to a figure's point value? In other words, if I have a 95 point figure and I assign a 6 point construct to them are they still considered a 95 point figure or a 101 point figure?
2) How exactly does Lyssa Drak's ability BOOK OF PARALLAX/BOOK OF THE BLACK (Lyssa Drak can use Probability Control regardless of range and line of fire, but can only target opposing characters with it, and only when they attack a character with a keyword she possesses) work? Can she use it more than once on a single opponent's turn, as in, does she use it every time an ally that meets the criteria is attacked?
3) How does the Indigo Tribe Recruit's Compassion ability (When a non-adjacent friendly character within 6 squares takes 3 or more damage, after actions resolve, if that character hasn't been healed this turn, you may place Indigo Tribe Recruit adjacent to that character and heal that character of 1 damage) interact with Bizarro*? If the attacker would do 3 damage (but doesn't actually do 3 clicks due to Bizarro's token/damage system) does Bizarro get healed?
3A) As a side question to the above, does Bizarro click his dial from damage or only from the dice roll?
*Relevant Bizarro ability text: Bizarro costs 25 points for each Orrazib token you place on his card, up to 12 tokens. When Bizarro takes damage, remove one Orrazib token from his card. When Bizarro is healed, add one Orrazib token to his card (no more than the initial amount). When there are no Orrazib tokens on this card, KO Bizarro. At the beginning of your turn, roll a d6 and click Bizarro that many times. This ability can't be ignored.
Just to be clear on question number 3, if Bizarro is hit with an attack that does 3 damage, he can benefit from the Indigo Tribe Recruit's ability (assuming the distance criteria is also met)? If so, is the end result as follows: Bizarro clicks his dial 3 clicks, removes one token, gets healed 1 click due to Indigo Tribe Recruit, as a result of healing Bizarro gets a token placed on him, finally at the start of his next turn he rolls a die and clicks his dial? He gets clicked 2 different times (the damage and then the healing) and his token count doesn't have a net change (he loses one but then gains one).
Mirandir is right, he takes damage as normal so if he takes 3+ damage from an attack, the Compassion power would kick in, and Bizarro would heal 1 (assuming he's not on click 1 at that point) and get 1 token back. You still click Bizarro's dial as if he is being hurt/healed and the roll at the start of each turn is in addition to that turning.
Does that make more sense?
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Pretty much correct. Just note that if the damage taken landed him on click #1 he cannot be healed and recieve a new token. Characters cannot be healed beyond their starting click and if the dial isn't clicked the character is not considered to be healed.
Rulebook page 10:
Quote
A character can’t be healed beyond its starting line or onto a KO click. A character with multiple starting lines can’t be healed beyond the starting line that it began within a particular game. A character is not considered “healed” unless a game effect causes it to turn its dial counterclockwise.
Thanks for the help. I haven't ever used Bizarro or played against him and only did a quick read through of his powers so I didn't know he still took the damage/healing since I thought it was just the tokens and shifting the dial via the dice roll. That part and how it interacts with the Indigo Lantern ability make sense now though. Thanks again.
