I'm playing a "Challenge of the Superfriends" battle with my buddy through E-mail, and I've got a question. I mind controlled his Superman over to be adjacent to my Sinestro fig, which has not yet left it's starting squares. Then I rolled to capture, and did so, successfully. Since it says in the rules that Sinestro can bring captured figures back to his starting area to take them out of the game, and my Sinestro never even LEFT his starting area, Superman can be taken off the board....right? My friend hasn't yet responded to the moves I've made, and probably won't till tomorrow morning, but I was just wondering if I could get people's thoughts on this tonight.
No, I don't even need to. I already captured him, is what I'm saying. And then I took Supes off the board. I MCed with Gorilla Grodd, and got Superman next to Sinestro without moving the big yellow one. Then, I rolled to capture. And that was that. My question is whether or not I need to, like, I don't know, move around or something before I can just take Superman off the board.
I don't have the Sinestro rules in front of me at the moment but I'm assuming they are the same for the Sentinel when capturing.
After Sinestro gets the character back to his starting area he must perform a move action to release the character. Since he performed an action to capture he can't perform a second action to release him until next turn. And even then, he would have to push to do it.
