You need the new Chase Phantom Stranger. Turn one, pop him off adjacent to Harley/Despot, and either Sidestep them, Tk Despot, whatever. While your opponents big gun is dealing with Despot, Phantom/Harley go to work, with team base hanging back. Harley should choose Phantom as her Puddin'.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a tough team to play against. How would it deal with

Speed Demon - 110
Highfather - 130
Despotellis - 30
Phoenix Force (All Fragments - Assigned to Speed Demon) - 30

Speed demon is going to insta-KO Despotellis on his way to smacking phantom stranger up side his head :P.

When Highfather announces the Pact, Phantom will be on the base. Speedy can go ahead and smack Despo or the TB, (If TB, he takes his 2 unavoidable damage.) Then Harley and/or Despotellis, if he's still alive, will go adjacent to Speedy/Despo. (The virus's will poison them selves to death. If not, Phantom has sidestep and Invincible and loads of Prob. I'll kill your Despot. easily. Speedy will have a tough time killing Phantom.)

Then I'd finish off Speedy, then demolish Highfather after announcing that Phantom is Harley's Puddin'.

Completely forgot about the double mystics damage. You are right, it's a pretty nasty team. I think this team would pull a majority though,

With ideal positioning Thane is going to hit the team base for 4-6 penetrating damage, followed up by a free action pulse wave. Lockjaw and Maximus will sling shot Alpha primitives for double super strength 9 range empower charge.

Positioning is key, yes. Thane could def. put a dent in the TB or Phantom,. But I could still Tk Despot. adjacent to him, then Harley could run up and Outwit/Poison him. Don't forget I may have double Prob (Pandora TB/Phantom.)

Honestly, I think the Speedy team has a better shot.

I think this team looks like a lot of fun gonna have to try it once I get a chance!

Just be careful, the 200 ToS teambase is quite fragile. They are mainly a secondary attacker/support. Phantom/Despo. are the true main attackers.

Owlman166: Remember that popping out Phantom Stranger from the 200-point TB means he starts on his 6th click, where he easily can be oneshotted. Say hello to Precision Strikers like Bullseye, Black Bolt, Karnak, Gamora, Yondu, Killraven, Nightcrawler, IIM Iron Man and the many others. Not to mention that Speed Demon's trait will be devastating to him.

Uh...Did I miss something?? I coulda' sworn they start on their top click, no matter the dial. But if Phantom say gets clocked for 3, and I put him back on the base, and try to de-tach him again, he starts on the same click he left off, I know that.

If Speed Demon "Speed Cyclone uplifts" Phantom Stranger away from his mastermind friends, he's easy meat for a follow-up attack. Or if Bullseye shoots him, a secondary attacker can follow up and KO Phantom Stranger.
