Im trying to put together a team with kind of an anti-resource strategy, and so far all I can think of is using the yellow power battery with tyrant at his 225 point value. Any idea of what would be the best construct to use and with the left over points what character might support him best?

300pt modern with resources, relics, and entities.

the only guy I can think to throw in there with him is weasel from the deadpool set. I figure at 225, and with the debuff that the yellow power battery provides tyrant will be hard to hit. If i use his ranged combat abilities combined with yellow perplex and weasels buffs plus tyrants prob control he would hit almost every time. I would have to move to close combat to use his anti-resource trait so I was wondering who would support him best with that tactic.

I myself would use the blue lantern battery so as to be able to reroll his defense power b/c at first glance the -2 to attack might seem glamorous at first but its too easy to get your attack up. Say for example you go up against a book of the skull team and all attackers on their side get 2 hammers then what happens? They all have essentially +2 to attack after the -2 from sinestro corps battery. Just my opinion. Any ways to support him in close I would use alpha primitive for empower and put the boxing glove on Tyrant plus perplex form blue.

His defence power does look good on paper, but note it can be ignored so anyone hitting him with pulse wave will cut through it.

Well if that were the case he'd go adjacent to the hammer'd character/s.

also, don't you want him adjacent to resource/relic'd figures? sure, a nice fat ranged defense is nice, but you'd be ignoring his super power

Good point but my point is it is very easy to get your attack up but yes that was a bad example, but still you could keep people with hammers apart.

Do his values go up with every character with a relic he is adjacent to? Up to three?

I finally got to try this team out, using the yellow battery and weasel for support. The first two games i played there was no resource for me to counter so using weasel worked well. During the third game my opponent used the green battery with the yellow ring and provided constructs for all three members of his team. I equipped the yellow boxing glove to tyrant and tried to make it a close combat game. Weasel (with Ion) wasnt much help and i was totally choked out by incapacitate the entire game. It took awhile but he punched me to death.
