Basically I'm trying to build a team out of what I have access to, I'm partial to the idea of Engineer since she's a big deal and I love
The Authority comics.
Any Help? Please help out as much as you can, I've never played competitve clix before so map choice etcera really helps me.
Guy Gardner - 120 - Adara 25
Engineer - 90 - Ophidian 25 (Black hand if you can't get Ophidian)
Green battery with ring and scissors 18 + 22 points of whatever other constructs you are feeling = 300
General Strat:
First turn where there is no immunity,
Get green scissors construct on Guy. This will give him +1 combat values (accept damage) and Exploit Weakness.
Increase his attack with 12 with Adara and Choose Prob as his power.
Pick perplex and TK with engineer. Perplex up Guy's attack to a 13 or his damage to 5, depending on how hard the target will be to hit.
TK him up 8, then move him up 9 next to target, then ATTACK! With precision strike, battle fury, and exploit, he will ignore most defenses.
Either before or after she TK's make sure to use her side step.
Second Turn,
Have engineer take +1 attack or damage from ophidian and outwit or invlun as her power.
Have her pick running shot and an appropriate attack power (PB, EE, or PW), and prob. Give her a construct too (decoy, wall, shield, or net most likely).
Then side step her for 2, running shot, and attack. And have guy push to attack as well.
Hopefully this early attack will be enough to turn the tide in your favor.
The alternative if they are not putting pressure on you and you want to slow the pace down,
Have both choose +1 defense and defensive powers from their entities. Have engineer pick prob or shape change for her damage power. Still assign the scissors to Guy. Give guy a move action and carry Engineer to a safe spot with cover.
Place engineer so that she is safe, but can side step into a LOS of a good tk spot.
Turn two, choose all the same powers and stat boosts, assign a construct to engineer, and take passes an pull tokens with the rest.
Turn three Attack as outlined above!
Things to remember.
Call attack bonus and powers with entities at the beginning of every turn.
Choose all three powers with engineer every turn.
Don't forget any defensive roles you might be able to make (like shape change with decoy).
Turn the battery when you give it actions so you can be slowly powering it up But remember, click 19 and 20 are the money clix. Don't push it any further or it will get KO'd!
