So we had an instance at the shop recently where Professor X's ability: I CAN'T LET YOU DO THIS was in question.

Essentially the situation happened as follows: Green Goblin began his action within range of Professor X so he was given a double power action instead of a power action to use Running Shot.

Green Goblin subsequently KO'd Professor X, does he still take the DPA or does it revert to a standard power action?

The players involved have discussed the issue and we aren't sure, I personally figured that because Goblin had to be given a DPA to begin running shot in the first place that it did not matter whether he KO'd the Professor or not. That being said however, I am not super up to date with Clix and because of this I bring the issue to the forums.

Prof X was alive when the action was given. At that point a double power action was used. Goblin takes two action tokens even if Prof X is killed.

Action types are determined when assigned.

You had to give GG a double power action and so a double power action it will always be, no matter what else happens along the way.
