So, I'm new to the game and looking for help. We play pretty casually around here and I've been fielding the Movie Hulk and Hawkeye since they're 2 of the 6-7 clix I own. It's been receiving some animosity so I was coming to you guys for suggestions on acquisitions.
Mechanically, I love evasive and durable models over hard hitting. Anything with Stop Clicks and Regen I enjoy.
Thematically, I am more of a DC guy and I love JSA and Justice League Dark (Really want to try the new Constantine).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as there are simply too many units to wrap my head around
Support your venue and buy a booster or two each time you play and force yourself to either completely build from it or take certain pieces for builds. It's a ton of fun and will introduce you to what I think half of the fun of the game is in creating interesting builds and also hopefully get you more acquainted with the other people since everyone flocks to booster openings.
Spend some time in the Units section and look at the various characters with the Justice Society and Justice League Dark keywords, and the Justice Society team ability. This will help you find thematically correct figures.

Some other options to boosters exist. Starters, fast forces, singles/maps (depending upon the venue). I reached a point where I didn't want boosters just because of quantity in my collection.
CSA fast forces will treat you well in a variety of situations.
Thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it. Are there any specific units that would lend themselves to the type of game I want to play (slow, grindy, disruptive)? Just wanted some suggestions so I know where to buy from.
