Attacking the Power Battery - If the Power Battery is adjacent to an opposing character or within its range and line of fire, that character may be given a power action to roll 2d6 and add their attack value. If the result is equal to or higher than the Power Battery's defense value, it takes damage equal to the opposing character's printed damage value -2. This can't be ignored.
I fully understand the rules above for attacking a Power battery However, my question is if you have a figure with penetrating poison next to a power battery does the power battery take damage since Poison is not an attack and does not require a dice roll to hit or do damage?
POISON At the beginning of your turn, give this character a free action and deal 1 damage to each adjacent opposing character
