Popping in for a sec. Swordsman has his Riposte trait, which would have been activated from Elektra having CCE:

"Riposte: When Swordsman is the target of a close combat attack and the attacker can use Blades/Claws/Fangs, Close Combat Expert, or Precision Strike, you may roll a d6 after a successful attack but before damage is dealt. If the result is equal to or higher than the attacker's printed damage value, Swordsman is dealt no damage by this attack and the attacker is dealt 1 unavoidable damage."
