Eclipso was in one of the first comics I've ever read when I was a kid. I want him pretty badly and this version does not disappoint, except that the possessed should have Battle Fury most of the time.
So... you could say, mind control a huge beat stick like Hulk or someone on the off chance they DON'T have Battle Fury, and give them an 8 range? That's beastly.
Also, given that he was fairly recently retconned to be a Gemworld affiliated villain, it's weird that they didn't grant him the keyword, especially since its a keyword occupied by only 1 person, so it's not as if he'll be ruining organized play with Amethyst.
Also question cause I feel it is going to come up at my venue. It's true if you have a character possessed by multiple entities you can still only choose one power and one combat value. But with Eclipso and Brainiac, these characters are considered 'equipped' not possessors. So.. Could you essentially have Eclipso and an Entity on one figure and get two powers and one combat ability. Cause I mean this guy can possess giants and colossal as well cause it's the new 'equip' reading.

Giants and colossals are not "standard characters" they cannot be equipped. Tiny no longer can be equipped either.
And you can't have multiple equipped when the errata comes through

PLEASE NOTE: Following up on this article, we will be posting an official errata for figures that previously utilized the “Possession” wording (DC Comics HeroClix: War of Light Entities and Marvel HeroClix: Age of Ultron Jocasta) so that they will now be updated to use the new “Equip” language.
Eclipso is the World Heavyweight Champion. I love Mystical Mind Control pieces and Eclipso here is no slouch. Turning anyone on the map into an 11/4 slugger is great. Hey, that Bill standing in front of their big gun blocking LOF? Do me a solid and smack him for me, will you? Alternatively, he can just blast away with his own 11/4 Precision Strike. He can also Mind Control pieces with Super Senses without fear! 9 clicks of damage reduction, 6 of them 2+, combined with Mystics and Quintessence means you're (probably) going to have to take quite a lot of Mystics damage to take him down. And then when he dies, he hops into someone else. Just so so good. I can't wait to mind control someone with RCE or CCE and then turn them into 11/6, 12/5 or 13/4 monsters.
Imagine using Eclipsed and turning Lian Harper into a 11/4 attacker with an 8 range.
With a possessor, you can only pick 1 value and modify it by +1, you can't replace it or multiple values. At best, Lian is rocking a 6 attack, a 5 speed, 8 defense, 1 range, or 1 damage.

I wasn't referring to the Possesion. I was referring to his MC trait that replaces any of the hit character's values with his.
