I am looking to form a group of players to play standard heroclix games. Bless their creativity but some of the game parameters concocted by tournament organizers are OUT THERE. The focus would be playing 300pt games for free, without all the bells and whistles (batteries, plants, boxes). I don't play in any major tournaments, but I really want to get better.
In addition to heroclix, I coach high school football, and love NFL football. I would want to play regularly Saturday afternoons I can make that work during the football seasons. I could also play on a weeknight twice a month. I am willing to travel from San Jose to South San Francisco.

Reason: added essential questions
We have a group that plays about twice a month on Saturday nights in Concord. We usually charge 2-3 bucks just to cover the cost of the OP kits. Our standard format is all figures are allowed but no resources or feats or bfc. you are more than welcome to come play with us. We have a couple guys who come from San Jose already. PM me if you would like more details
I was not able to figure out how to start a group here at hcrealms. I was not able to find a local group here at hcrealms. I have tried other sites such as meetup, and craigslist.org
Hey ever thought of checking in WES? If not yet , okay. We have a group here in Fremont, one in Santa Clara, one in Berkeley. There is one group from Modesto visiting Fremont, those group loves to challenge each other saying that each is the best, for fun. PM me if you're interested. I go to Fremont on every Wed and Sun (sometimes Sat) and Berkeley on every Thursday.
There's a whole section on these forums for Group Discussion/Recruitment that's where you should be posting..
Hmm where ? If you mean that we need to click "Groups" on the top bar, that's kind of not really helpful...can try that, you will have to keep using the search engine. For me, I never like that. Yuck. Needs to be user friendly.
