Long answer: Nothing changes the way his actions are performed. He is not Indomitable and will still take pushing damage at the end of an action (so If you turn him to click 6, and push revealing KO, he is KO'd). If he is not KOd during your turn, then he returns to the click where he began the turn. So in a way, yes, he is bypassing any damage taken during his turn, but actions are performed normally. Turning him to click 3 to attack and then pushing onto click 4 with Outwit can be a good strategy if he has any other attackers on his force.
Absolutely incredible! Better than pick a power, he can pick entire power sets. All of which are ideal in their combinations. Wild card to MoE and give him an action every single turn. On top of that, if I'm reading the player guide right, he can still use that perplex during the end of the turn, after he goes back to click one and the (relative) safety of stealth.
I played as him and owned the battle royal. Unfortunately someone else selected him in the post game draft. Sad face. This guy with Weapons Drop would be redundant but oh so fun.
Just to clarify, he changes click number-then hits someone with mystics ta and takes damage-at the end of the turn he reverts to the click he was on so he doesn't care about mystics
I immediately snatched this guy up when I (luckily) got first pick at my venue. He's made to be played aggressively, constantly picking new powers to suit the situation. I'm really looking forward to wildcarding MoE onto Tasky and letting him take an action every single turn while avoiding pushing damage via his second trait. Talk about brutal.
Taskmaster was my mvp and wrecked the enemy team with his wild card and Radioactive Man's MoE. Radioactive Man also deserves a shout out for that nasty 4 base dmg and poison.
He still takes Pushing Damage if he stays on his first click.
And can't go back to his first click if pushed off of his first click
(when starting and staying on his first click).

His effectiveness is doubled with brainiac. Beginning of turn pick sidestep or outwit, use it, master of moves onto click 3, pick pulse wave and damage(or attack), use running shot + pulse wave, click back to click 1, choose impervious and +1 defense.
