This may be a stupid question, but I just had an issue with the wording of Lobo's CZARNIAN REGENERATION power and needed some clarification.
His power reads:
Quote
Czarnian Regeneration: When Lobo takes damage from an attack, place a Drop of Blood token on his card. Give Lobo a free action and remove a Drop of Blood token from his card. When you do, place a Lobo Clone bystander token in an adjacent square as described on the back of this card. Lobo Clones replace their combat values with Lobo's current printed combat values and they can use any powers that Lobo can use.
Does he actually have to click for this to happen? If he gets dealt damage and I reduce it with Impervious, do I still get a Drop of Blood token?
Quote
Impervious:When this character is dealt damage, roll a d6. On a result of 5 or 6, the damage dealt is reduced to 0. On a result of 1–4, the damage dealt is reduced by 2.
I'm trying to reconcile "dealt damage" with "taking damage." My gut says he has to click, but stranger things have happened.

DEALING DAMAGE When your character hits an opposing character with an attack, your character deals damage. The damage dealt to the opposing character is equal to your character’s damage value. Whenever a character takes damage, that character’s player turns—or clicks—the character’s combat dial in the clockwise direction once for each 1 damage taken. Each click will reveal a new set of numbers in the stat slot. If a character’s dial is turned and symbols appear, the character is defeated and immediately removed from the game
Your gut is correct. Taking damage means you turned the dial clockwise. If he is dealt damage and it is reduced to 0, he wouldn't take damage and would not get a Drop of Blood Token.
While we're on the subject, kind of, I just wanted to double-check the following:

Can't Keep the Main Man Down!: Lobo can use Regeneration. He may activate it as a free action, and if he does he subtracts 3 from the d6 roll instead of 2.
Can Lobo use Regeneration as a free action, subtracting 3 from the roll, and then use Regeneration as a regular action? I'm under the impression that he can; however, someone argued that he may not use the same power twice in a turn.
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn... don't worry guys... that's just the way I sneeze...

A character may not activate the same effect twice in a turn WITH FREE ACTIONS. You are not trying to do that. Lobo can activate Regeneration normally and with a free action (provided he doesn't heal off Regen the first time he uses it, of course).
