Just a quick question...
Outwit:
Give this character a free action to counter a power or a combat ability possessed by a single target opposing character until the beginning of your next turn. Any game effects with a duration specified by the countered power or combat ability are removed. A character using this power must be within range (minimum range 6) and line of fire to the target.

Inspiration: Opposing characters can't use Outwit.

Ok... here is my question.
If my opponent has used OUTWIT to counter a power on one of my figures, for example, Pulse Wave. And I, on my turn, use an action to Summon JEWEL (Jessica Jones) and use the Inspiration power to stop opposing characters from using Outwit. Will my Pulse Wave power return to my figure, or not?

[C]Some effects will state that a character “can’t use” an effect. When a power or ability is prevented from being used, the character can’t activate that power or ability and its triggered and passive effects can’t be triggered or used, but any already activated or triggered ongoing effects do not end unless otherwise noted. A character that “can’t use” a power or ability still possesses the power or ability (if applicable).

Hmm....Damn, so it will not stop Outwitted powers..., but it would keep them from using Outwit on their next turn...
Guess I will have to decide if that is the proper route for this new idea.

Could always use one of the ID cards that grant Power Cosmic or Quintessence. Unless they reverse prior rulings, gaining those would return their outwitted powers.

@PredatorSmurf where did that come from specifically? It looks like you cut paste from C&E document (Changes and Errata).
