Been watching a bunch of YouTube videos lately of HeroClix matches and it seems to me that this was done wrong. Isn't it too late to use poison from a called in character as beginning of turn has ended?(because a power action was given to call said figure in)

Call in Help - At the beginning of your turn, you may activate one ID Card per force. To activate an ID Card, choose a friendly character that has no action tokens and is equal to or more points than the ID Character's starting line. Give the chosen character a power action, place the ID Character adjacent to it, and then remove this ID Card from the game and your opponent scores it.
they have not at this time separated free actions from the begging of the turn phase, so in said phase, you can also do free actions, and you can do them in any order you choose, ID card, Sidestep, poison, leadership...etc.
His token generation is a trigger occurs at the beginning of the turn. However, because the call in id is a trigger that happens first when the beginning of turn occurs, poison cannot create a token after he is called in because it is too late right?
I know when the new timing update hits, call in will definitely end the beginning of turn phase because the call in requires a power action.

Nothing prevents the token from being created.
The Call-In says it happens at the beginning of your turn, so it does not end the beginning of your turn, and you can still continue doing effects which occur at the beginning of your turn.
As for the upcoming changes, nothing is definite about what will happen with the new rules until the new rules are published.
