Saw this come up in a non-rules thread and I was wondering if I can get a confirmation on whether the limits on Atlantean bystanders are per Namor or total for your force.
Quote
KING OF ATLANTIS: Other friendly character with the Atlantis keyword modify their attack value by +1. Namor can use Leadership.
IMPERIUS REX!: Give Namor a power action to place adjacent an Atlantean Warrior bystander -or- Give Namor a double power action to place adjacent two Atlantean Warrior bystanders. You may not use this power if there are more than 4 Atlantean Warrior bystanders on your force.
I initially thought it would be total until I had this clarification pointed out to me
Quote
BYSTANDERS
[C]When a game effect allows a character to create bystanders, the effects of those bystanders and effects applying to those bystanders only apply to the specific character that created the bystanders and not all same named characters, same named bystanders, or characters that can also create the same named bystanders.
It looks like I'm not the first person wondering based on this old thread I found while searching. Would've Necro'd that but it's already closed. Anyone get a firm ruling out of Wizkids that I'm just unable to find, or barring that has a consensus of yes been reached given the Clarification they keep redirecting to?
As can be seen by the previous thread, though multiple people have tried to have an official ruling on this, it is always rejected referring to the quoted clarifications. It is pretty clear that their references are not to imply that they mean the opposite of those clarifications, but rather that they support the notion that it would be 6 per Namor, and won't provide a ruling because they deem a ruling unnecessary in this instance(even though there are plenty of rulings on much simpler and less contested questions...). Unfortunately, there are a few who don't accept this, so as of yet there is no 'consensus'.
