For my next set, I'm going to actually have to have a bit more of a plan than I had with the Homestar Runner and Shovel Knight sets, both of which I pretty much did one at a time with no real end-goal in sight when I started. Here, since Disney Infinity in its three year span developed a very finite set of characters, I think it's a good time to have a set list developed first and then start developing stats.
For those not in the know, Disney Infinity was part of the now-dying Toys To Life video game craze, and in my eyes was the best of them. The Playsets were a great work in progress, starting as fairly straightforward sandbox style games and then moving into more complex sandbox games in the second generation and then in the third generation, they really stretched their wings, churning out sandbox-style Star Wars games, an N64-style Inside Out platformer, a Power-Stone-esque Marvel fighting game, and a very Ecco the Dolphin Finding Dory game, along side a Kart racer and a few dungeon crawlers.
And then you had the Toy Box, where you could develop your own game from all the disparate Disney elements the game had accrued. If you wanted Mickey Mouse to fight off a Symbiote invasion on Hoth, you could do it. There really were some great player-generated concepts in this game, and that's where the magic was. You could exercise your game-design creativity in a wide variety of ways, crafting your own vast worlds to explore and play within.
By the time the plug was pulled, Disney Infinity had amassed a huge range of playable characters, and I'm thinking they could very likely make a pretty dang good full five-figure booster set. So that's what I'm aiming for. This'll be vastly bigger than any main set currently published, so this project will probably take me a bit of time. Stick around if you're interested!

The Incredibles: UNIQUE: When this character is adjacent to a friendly character with The Incredibles trait, both characters receive +1 to Defense. The Glory Days: +5 Points: Mr. Incredible can use Sidestep.
There's no better place to start than with the original edition's starter set figures. 1.0 characters were very straightforward, and don't quite have the nuances that 2.0 and 3.0 characters have. So Mr. Incredible here is a fairly simplistic brick, plenty of reducers, Charge, Super Strength, Quake, and a bit of Precision Strike at the end to help his fading damage stick.
He's got a nice little boost in his The Incredibles trait, allowing he and an adjacent Incredible to boost their defense values by 1. After all, Bob is the dad of the family and protects his wife and kids in combat as best he can.

Subscribing due to my love of all things Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars. Like that Mr. Incredible - he's vanilla but that's fitting for his standard brick powerset. His damage is a bit low, but it fits that he does have to rely on objects and teamwork to really smash the Omnidroid and it helps keep his cost low and his dial long.

That's what I was going for. The Incredibles are going to be designed with teamwork as a focus, with each one providing a distinct boost to their family members.
Thanks for checking in!

Cursed Dubloon: +5 points - Jack Sparrow can use Toughness. He's Got to Be the Worst Pirate I've Ever Seen.: Jack Sparrow can use Willpower and Energy Shield/Deflection.
The trick with Pirates of the Caribbean characters is that in 1.0, they played completely identically. There was no gameplay difference between Sparrow, Barbossa, and even Davy Jones. It took until 2.0 with skill trees to give any of them appreciable differences. They each had a sword and a blunderbuss, and that was it.
So Sparrow gets a bit of uniqueness through his Willpower and mobility, and early-dial tendency to deflect ranged attacks with his sword. Plenty of Perplex in the beginning and Ranged Combat Expert at the end, with a mix of Swords and Pirate Bombs keeping him dangerous.

Sneak and Scare: Sulley can use Stealth and Incapacitate Range 3 Leaping Smash: Sulley can use Leap/Climb. If he moves three squares or less, he can use Quake as a free action after actions resolve.
Sulley requires a bit of 2.0 finagling to make him a bit more distinct. Otherwise, he's just a bit strong guy with a shoulder tackle and a roar. Nothing too interesting. 2.0 boosted his physical strength to allow him to heft larger objects, gave him a power leap by holding down the jump button, and gave him a bigger health bar.
He has some 1.0 holdovers, though. The Monsters University playset differed from Incredibles and Pirates in that instead of a focus on combat, the focus was on stealth, sneaking up on students from the rival school and scaring them when they weren't looking, as well as evading detection when on the rival campus so you could pull pranks on them without getting caught.
So Sulley's got him some traited Stealth, with a ranged Incapacitate so he can sneak up on enemies and scare them stiff.

Force Sensitive: Luke Skywalker can use Telekinesis, but only to move objects or use them in attacks.
Force Focus: The first time this click is revealed, STOP. Luke Skywalker cannot make ranged attacks except by Telekinesis. Luke Skywalker can use Charge, adding +1 to his movement after halving for Charge. Lightsaber: Luke Skywalker can use Blades/Claws/Fangs and Exploit Weakness. Jedi Reflexes: Luke Skywalker can use Super Senses and Energy Shield/Deflection. If a ranged attack against Luke Skywalker misses, roll a d6. On a result of 6, deal one penetrating damage to the attacker.
Trying to capture Luke Skywalker in a Heroclix piece is not easy, as Jedi are capable of so much that doesn't easily translate to the tabletop. But Disney Infinity Luke, simplified a little bit for video gameplay, is a bit easier. So what I tried to do here was put into numbers and stats how you play Luke in Infinity. He balances between Lightsaber and Blaster, the Lightsaber of course being far more potent than the blaster. He can use his Lightsaber to deflect blaster shots leveled at him, possibly pinging the enemy who shot at him.
When his special meter is filled, he goes into Force Focus mode, where he foregoes his blaster completely and becomes a Lightsaber combo machine. I thought about adding Flurry to those clicks as well, but that just felt a bit overkill and would have bumped his cost up a bit too far for my liking.

Movement - Web Swinging and Wall-Crawling: Ignores Elevated Terrain and Hindering Terrain Spider-Sense - Tingling!: Spider-Man can use Super Senses and ignores Precision Strike. When an attack targeting Spider-Man misses or is dodged, he may be placed in any square adjacent to the one he is currently occupying. Web Line: Spider-Man can use Incapacitate. When he does and succeeds, the hit target may be placed in the nearest square adjacent to Spider-Man, who may then make a close attack as a Free Action.
Disney Infinity 2.0 introduced the Marvel Superheroes to the franchise, coming in three distinct flavors - Avengers, Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Unfortunately, Spider-Man's playset is based on the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, but to be honest, that series doesn't reflect too terribly much on the gameplay. Just pretend that Nova is Richard Rider and all is well.
But it still presents Spider-Man and his pals as a part of SHIELD's teen hero program, so this Spidey gets the SHIELD keyword. Spidey here is nimble and has very good tendencies to dodge and evade, as he should. Avoiding attacks, either by the opponent not getting their roll or by successful Super Senses, allows him to reposition.
The part I wanted to include most is the Web Line ability, which has Spider-Man snagging his targets and then yanking them into his eagerly waiting fists. It's a really fun ability to use in-game, and I'd like to think it could be fun in Heroclix, making this version of Spider-Man stand out from the pack.

Luke Skywalker: I found in my Star Wars set that designing Jedi was insanely hard, and it's steered me off of doing a sequel set since it seems impossible to get them into a point cost that works in modern design while also showing off all they can do. Your Luke is pretty great as a representation of ESB-era Luke. I think leaving off Flurry was wise; he's a strong piece in melee but still learning.
Spider-man: A near perfect Spidey. The one drawback is that he's so great at range that I think my temptation to actually use Webline would be limited - I can just shoot for 3 damage instead, and keep my 20 defense. He'd still be a blast to play though.
Web Line is all about the right targets, just like in the game. You don't want to hit the colossal symbiote monsters with it, because they don't stun so easy and you set yourself up for getting punched in the face. But against smaller targets, it's crucial, allowing you to pick them off one by one, pulling them out of their swarms and dismantling them at your pace. It feels very Spidey.
I see Web Line getting use against the right targets - those who either already have one action token and couldn't retaliate, those who don't have Willpower and aren't willing to push to retaliate, or those who are near the end and could stand some weakening and repositioning for a friendly to finish off.
Spidey is so much fun in Infinity due in large part to how well they executed the flow of web-to-fist combat for him, that he was the first character I leveled all the way up to max.

Everybody Loves Minnie: Minnie Mouse can use Mind Control Projectile Purse: Give Minnie Mouse a Power Action to make a ranged attack. If the attack succeeds, she may make a second ranged attack as if she occupied the square her target is in.
It's not surprising that Mickey and Minnie Mouse made it into Disney Infinity. What's surprising is that it took until version 3.0 to get to them. And yes, a version of Mickey was included in the original generation's lineup, but that was Fantasia's Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, as opposed to the standard "classic" Mickey that made it into 3.0.
The mice are pretty competent in combat, actually, with Mickey being fairly good at fisticuffs and capable of producing cartoon items from hammerspace to fling at his enemies, or using his fishing lure to yank them in for a pummeling. Minnie's got range on lockdown, with a magical purse that isn't entirely unlike Mjolnir. Be thou worthy enough to wield the purse of a mouse? And when the going gets tough, Minnie can get the tough to work for her, making enemies within range of her attack to fight each other instead of her.
As Mickey is the keystone of the Disney empire, he's great at supporting the various components of that empire, from a Leadership that works on every teammate regardless of cost and keyword, to Empower to Perplex.

Hey, Where's Perry?: Agent P can use Stealth. Agent P receives +1 to attack when no friendly characters without the OWCA keyword are within his range. Semi-Aquatic Egg-Laying Mammal of Action: When Agent P occupies Water Terrain, he receives +1 to speed. New OWCA Recruits: All friendly characters with the Animal keyword also have the Spy and OWCA keywords. Platypus Perception: Agent P can use Super Senses and Combat Reflexes.
There are few kids' cartoons in the modern era that are quite as good as Disney's "Phineas and Ferb" was. It had a very strict formula, but wasn't afraid to poke fun at that formula or even play around with it from time to time.
With Heroclix design here, I had to embellish a bit, add details from the cartoon that don't reflect in gameplay, otherwise they're both fairly drab. Phineas would be a basic ranged shooter and Agent P a close combat fighter. So I brought in Phineas's penchant for invention, allowing him to take ordinary objects and turn them into extra powers for him to use, and gave Agent P some bonuses for staying away from his allies to reflect his secret agent nature. But if you want to keep him near allies, Agent P can offer the SHIELD team ability, since OWCA (Organization Without a Cool Acronym) is basically a SHIELD spoof.
The only real sad thing about "Phineas and Ferb" in Disney Infinity is that code for the original game suggested that initially, both Ferb and Dr. Doofenshmirtz were going to be playable characters as well, but never made the final cut. I would have love love loved to play as Doofenshmirtz in this game. Building Inators, trying to take over the WHOLE - TRI-STATE - AREAAAAAAAA!!!!

Thanks for checking my set out! I have some ideas for special objects to reflect the Power Discs and stuff you can equip - Vibranium Daggers, Buzz Lightyear's Jet Pack, a Lightsaber - stuff like that.
