Help me out with this. Is all this ninja/pirate/robot/etc. stuff necessary just like the "pineapple" talk we were forced into using from almost a year ago? If so, is there a glossary so I can follow along?...

I did mine (Pirate thread) in Fun Which I made sure everyone knew. It did get out of hand though. Which I did tell everyone to relax at the end and stop making new threads. Otherwise what happened would happen which it did.
