ROLLING 2 AND 12: CRITICAL MISSES AND
CRITICAL HITS
If the attack roll was a physical two ( ), all targets of
the attack become missed, even if the attack total would
normally hit one or more of the targets. This is called a
critical miss. Resolve the attack and, immediately after
resolutions, deal the attacker 1 unavoidable damage.
So whenever you get a critical miss, you finish the entire action you're doing (in the case of HSS, make your second movement if you're able to) and then you take the damage afterward.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
We would be better off answering the related question and reminding people that even if you did click off of Hypersonic for some reason in the middle of the action you get to complete it:

When a power or ability is “lost” or “can’t be used,” any currently resolving actions or triggered effects resolve normally.

A power says “POWER: Make up to 3 close attacks.” If a character either is healed or damaged during the first attack onto a click without this power, the action continues resolving and the character is able to make 0, 1 or 2 more close attacks.
In general to everyone, please take a few seconds to clean up the formatting and spacing a little and try to use quote blocks if you are going to cut-and-paste directly from the rule book. A default cut-and-paste is borderline unreadable on mobile or if you change the page size at all.
