For a long time now, flyingicarus and I have come up with our own Top Ten lists for each set that comes out ranking the best (and 5 worst) figures. By no means intended to be definitive lists, it was just something we did for our amusement, based on our own personal preferences and observations.
One thing which we never did though, is play any games specifically highlighting those figures. Well, we're going to try that now, and we're going all the way back to the beginning. From the Top Ten Lists we made up we've each drafted 7 figures, plus one of the figures that we had ranked in the bottom. We have to pick one figure from each set and one bottom figure. If there's a point discrepancy larger than 10 points after 8 figures are chosen we adjust by adding, subtracting or swapping figures. As long as they are part of the top 10.
This game involves the sets Chaos War, the Dark Knight Returns movie set, JL52 and the two 10th Anniversary sets.
"Crystal, Storm," Captain America said. "We have civilians here. Your job will be to protect them."
"I am more than capable of fighting our foes while still making sure civilians don't get hurt," Storm said.
"Good, because we may need to be doing that double duty," Crystal said.
"I am a trained police officer. I can help," John Jones said. "And I have other skills as well that could be useful."
"Fine, but those are the rest of the Avengers over there," Captain America said. "Don't take any chances."
"And what about us, Captain? Are you going to try to give us orders too?" Deathstroke asked.
"As if you'd follow them," Captain America said. "I'm just hoping you'll do your part in the fight."
"Ha! You have to hand it to him. He knows us pretty well," the Green Goblin said. "But beating up Avengers? You don't have to tell me twice to do that!"
"And which Enchantress are we dealing with today?" Captain America asked her. "Good or evil?"
"I have the evil under control...for now," June said. "But it's a constant struggle."
Saw your concession and was about to post this and lo and behold, you beat me to it.
By the way, you get first pick on the next grouping which covers Batman, Streets of Gotham, Batman Strategy Game (optional), No Man's Land (optional) and Amazing Spider-Man. (And after that, we're finally on page 3).

"Cap on the other side? That just feels weird," Hawkeye says.
"Not to mention Crystal and Storm," the Scarlet Witch adds.
"It does not matter," Thor insists, "Not when you seen them allied with the likes of the Green Goblin."
"Here! Here!" Don Blake says.
"Speaking of weird. Don Blake and Thor....in one place..." the Wasp says, "Now that's a head scratcher."
"I am more curious about these two," Space Phantom says.
"The feeling is mutual," Green Lantern says, "I don't know you guys from Adam but I'm the Green Lantern. This ring lets me do anything I want, almost."
"Think of me as Tony Stark. With better skills and less snark," Bruce Wayne says to the Avengers.
