For almost as long as flyingicarus and I have been playing, we've been doing an annual Halloween game, featuring the ghosts and ghouls, witches and monsters of Clix.
This year's will go like this, full credit to flyingicarus for the set up:
We each pick 13 figures each to start. 8 figures will be 'active' and five will be sidelined. This is DC for Gargantua, Marvel for flyingicarus and Undead set split between us. Whenever a figure is koed, they must be replaced from your sideline. Once the sideline is down a figure, you replace that with a new figure going into your sideline.
Each turn we roll a 10 sided die. This determines the number of actions we can take. If the number is greater than 8 we can add from our sideline in the starting area for that turn (they return to the sideline with action tokens if they apply, at the end of the turn).
If our rolls for actions is less than 3, we can reroll once for free. If not and we want to use an active pcer to reroll we can once (that pcer cannot use pc again this turn). We can't have the same roll for number of actions two turns in a row.
We count points for every koed figure, winner determined at the end. On Sunday November 4th we each take one final turn and then the winner is determined.
Prior to each action roll, roll a 6 sided die.
1: Free use of pc to reroll your # of actions roll
2: Add 1 to your total action rolls
3: Toyland, Toyland, Little Girl And Boyland. For a single turn you can equip a character with a Punisher weapon of your choice MP16-S101-114 or any figure with a Power Pack keyword. If you total actions for that turn are 4 or less, you may use both a Punisher weapon and a Power Pack figure that turn.
4: Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful. Pick a square on the map. Until your next turn lines of fire to and from that square are blocked. Any figure in that square cannot take an action, including a move action.
5: Sleigh Ride. Choose a friendly or opposing figure. Move that figure up to 4 squares ignoring terrain and other characters.
6: Free Choice
Bonus:
Let It Snow. Draft a Snowfall figure into your starting area as a permanent addition. There can only be one Snowfall figure in play at a time. Points for Snowfall figures do not count towards your play total. If a Snowfall figure kos a figure or is koed, those ko points do not get added to your totals. Snowfall figures can only be directly replaced by other Snowfall figures. Each Snowfall figure may be used only once.

"I can sense it's power," Enchantress said, "but it is well masked. It may take some time to search."
"That's where my boys come in," Abraham Lincoln said. "Hear me, boys, all the brains you can eat for whichever one finds the trinket we're looking for."
"Brains!" the Zombie Horde moaned.
"Can't say I'm a big fan of brains. I think I'd prefer a different reward," the Creeper said.
"The Creeper is not a big fan of brains," Deadman scoffed. "Truer words were never spoken."
"Who needs a reward?" Scarecrow asked. "Imagine how frightened people will be when the night never ends. Their delicious fear will be reward enough!"
I'm not sure if I was only getting one Batman, I'd have gone with Nekhrun, but then I don't know if he really is Batman, despite appearances. (Real name is just...Nekhrun?) But whatever. It's fine. Vampire Batman will have another chance.
I also feel like there should be a limit on how many of those Marvel Zombies you should be allowed. Those guys are just soo darn good.

I suppose we can play more than one version of a character, it's just that we have sooooo many options. Most major characters we could justify a version here. Anyway, Nekrun seems to NOT be Bruce.
As for zombies, how about one on board at a time? I'd say the same for Black Lanterns although they aren't near as annoying.

I'm fine with the limit on Black Lanterns too. I've always wanted to do a Black Lanterns vs Marvel Zombies for Halloween, but I never suggested it because it would be just too imbalanced. And Nekhrun/Batman would be the only one I'd play a different version of. If he even is Batman.
Speaking of whom, you will hate me for this but Nekhrun lets my team be Bat Allies. But I figure it's the only way to get my slow-shambling Zombies close enough to you to do anything before you shoot them up. But I promise I'll be sporting and not hold him back.
Correction on Deadman, it should be the JL52, and should be 52 points. Adjusting accordingly.
Since this is a replacement game, I'm thinking 6 objects

First I roll my 10-sided and get 2. That I can reroll 2 again. Enchantress makes it 3. Yeeha.
For my six-sided I roll a 4. Lets me swap an active figure with one of yours. I feel like we should give the usual three turns before we let that happen.
So the low movement roll doesn't hurt me much as I can use my Zombie Horde trait - At the beginning of your turn, for all characters with this trait, choose one: MOVE -or- CLOSE. Actions of the chosen type made by friendly characters with the Zombie Horde keyword don't count against your action total this turn.
I don't see why this wouldn't count in this game.

I thought we'd already established a 3 turn break before the chaos. If not, I'm glad you just did.
I am aware of the Bat-God's trait lending ability. As if you aren't already someone who likes to abuse stealth. . I do appreciate your not trying to overly abuse it. On this map, that's a challenge.
I was thinking we should play our usual 3 objects but replenish either mid game or add one every week or something.
I'm a bit disappointed that my ghosts don't have stealth. Doesn't feel right.
