Just listening through it right now and you asked for a comment on Crystal Shell. It's worded very weirdly. We can understand the Foot Soldier (Boomerang) or old man Bruce Wayne because those are misses and the math is obvious. The intent seems clear to me that it would be within those values, but it only gives one reduction for one result (otherwise hitting at the exact value would prevent 6). Therefore, if your attack roll = the defense (hitting by exactly 1, no margin for error), prevent 3. If the attack was 1 greater than the defense (hitting by 2), prevent 2, and if it was 2 greater (hitting by 3), prevent 1. The wording is rather unprecedented, and it definitely could've been done better There would definitely be space on the card to accommodate that.

I wonder if this was made by the same person that made the BTAS Riddler, giving us a ton of headaches.

btw, my nasty team (which was for a local ROC event) did have x2 Lila Cheney and x2 Moira. AND i didn’t even win that one!

In retrospect I wish I would have dropped Doc Ock and used the FF Kingpin. Then I could have allocated the spare points differently. The Alyosha/Etrernity combo was nasty enough. I didn't need the cheesy LE Doc Ock LE on the team too.

I might have the wrong episode, but that discussion about the Crystal Shell power has turned into an interesting one. You guys both interpreted it differently during the podcast. When I told my local judge about it, I was shocked to find out we were both on opposite sides of the interpretation. Now it's become a big thing on this site.

Thanks for directing me to that thread. I'll keep an eye out for word from WizKids, because even though I think the wording is pretty clear, I'm not sure it jives with intent, and I'd like to see some clarification.
