For a long time now, Gargantua and I have come up with our own Top Ten lists for each set that comes out ranking the best (and 5 worst) figures. By no means intended to be definitive lists, it was just something we did for our amusement, based on our own personal preferences and observations.

One thing which we never did though, is play any games specifically highlighting those figures. Well, we're going to try that now, and we're going all the way back to the beginning. From the Top Ten Lists we made up we've each drafted 7 figures, plus one of the figures that we had ranked in the bottom. We have to pick one figure from each set and one bottom figure. If there's a point discrepancy larger than 10 points after 8 figures are chosen we adjust by adding, subtracting or swapping figures. As long as they are part of the top 10.

This game features figures from the Mighty Thor, Thor Ragnarock movie (optional), Harley Quinn and the Gotham Girls and X-Men Xavier's School.

I could be wrong, but I'm getting the sense that this mobility issue is going to end up being a big problem for me this game.

Your mobility may be an issue, I thought the same for me last game and it still worked out.

Pluto boosts his own dv. Otherwise I'm quiet here.

Enchantress should have the Mirror, it's a freebie for the character, I don't see why we wouldn't include it.

I figured the Mirror would be assumed on Enchantress, but putting it in the recap

Magik rolls 1 for her Demonic Mistress Power. Not a whole lot of help. Moves herself to E15 as an Action

Well. I suppose I can expect an alpha strike from a Hypersonic Thor next turn unless I do something, so eggs in a basket time. Enchantress Perplexes Thorbuster's AV to 12

Thorbuster RS to K9, tries for his own Alpha Strike on Thor. AV12 on DV19. Gets 7. Zatanna makes it 7. Constantine makes it 7. Oooh sweet. I was worried about all that PC. So hits. Per his SP "When he attacks a character that can use Invincible, modify damage +2." Makes his Damage 6, though with Invincible, Thor can't take more than 3 from an attack, still it's a very good 3 and I will take it.

I may lose Thorbuster now, but he did what I drafted him for. Though he does have a couple Traits that may help him stick around:

I'm going to try something evil. I'll use up Xavier's student id card to draft the X-Student healer in J3.

Healer tries to heal Odinson. Needs 7 and I have two pcers in row to help, rolls 8. Heal is 3, so he's up two but at least took damage. You also forced me to use the Student ID.

Jean freely tks Odinson to I6. Pluto makes his av 12.

Odinson hss to I12 attacking GM. I don't like my chances so I won't risk a plot point to possibly lose it. Needs 8 + 1, gets 9. 4 for GM. 9 for JC. Ouch. That kos GM. Thor ends in H6.

I basically took a pass turn here, but hang on, I want to check something.

Okay back it up. Xavier gets a Student ID card. The Student ID cards in the XXS set do not include the generic X-Students/Trainees. If you go to the end of the XXS Units section, and scroll to the end of the figures, you get a list of the XID cards. XID001-015 are the Student ID cards. Those are the ones he can use. They're all for different named students. None of the options will let you heal Thor.

That's not how we've played it all along but I suppose it makes sense. We have to remember too that they can't bring in the 'Faculty' (although I think that's silly, weren't Cyclops etc. students...Kitty is both a student and teacher but not Beast). I'd say we house rule to be able to use any ID card in this case. However, if we did, I'd draft Marvel Girl 10th anniversary who would have healed Thor 2. So, assuming we don't want to house rule....

So how does this change my turn?

It doesn't effect the Thorbuster ko at all.

I can't heal Odinson. I'll draft Synch as my student, he borrows perplex from Pluto. Both make Thor's av 12.

Thor rs to I9 attacking GM. He hits for 3. It's not a ko.

Jean tugs Thor to H7.

With Thorbuster's ko, two warrior souls come in adjacent to Pluto. They move to GH9.

I'll start with the easy one. Sand phases to I14. He gets to use force blast freely. He'll use it on GM. FB roll is irrelevant, it knocks GM off the roof for a ko. I'll probably lose him for that but it's ok.

I get a 3rd warrior soul for that, the max at one time. It moves to F9.

Jean freely tks Supergirl to I6. Pluto makes her damage 5.

SG hss to H11 attacking Skids. Needs 7 but has 3 tries, rolls 5. JC makes it 6. 7 for Zee. KOs Skids.

Supergirl ends in J8, gains another bombshell token.

Odinson is never gonna get to live up to his promise so I may as well get him going. He'll RS to J11 attacking Emma. Needs 7 to hit, rolls 12. SS is 6 but he has ps. So I think she takes 1 for the attack and 1 for the critical hit. Plus she gets kb to F19.

Odinson gets a plot point. Not that he'll last long enough to do much.
