Does anyone know what happened to cable I mean he just like vanished our something.

same thing that happened to deadpool. he got confiscated by rob liefeld and marvel cant use the names anymore.

cable became soldier x
deadpool became agent x

may the flees of a thousand camel infest his shorts.

he had a his own book, then it became Soldier X, but now i think Agent X & Soldier X are now combinin' into a Cable/Deadpool comic. also he has been spotted in the Weapon X comic book w/ Domino and Meltdown. I dont read any of those books, imo they never looked that good, so most of my info is from AlterEgo's shelves or lookin' through previews. hope that helps.

i had heard they (marvel and liefeld) have been in negotiation on this for some time now.....so maybe theyve reached an agreement....

no maybe its comin' out w/ a Liefeld cover and all. the worst x-men writer, fabian, is pennin' the garbage. plus all of us fanboys out there know that Claremont first introduced Nathan"Cable"Summers in Uncanny #201. Liefeld ruined Nathan w/ big guns, sholder pads, and no feet. we all know Liefeld can't draw feet. Liefeld has plague the comic industry for years. him and BillJemas should start thier own company call WeSuckComix!

Actually, it's going to be written by Gail Simone. She's one of the best writers around.

I believe the characters were changed for a while, because Marvel wanted Liefeld to know how upset they were about the Agent America/Fighting American fiasco.

thats funny, GailSimone is "actually" writing it you say? then why is dynamic forces sellin' Cable/Deadpool #1 signed by writer FabianNicieza. any questions just click on Cable/Deadpool #1. maybe Gail will take over after Fabian, but he is writing #1.

I dont believe that Liefeld owned Deadpool and Cable. First, Marvel never operated like that, why would they change for Liefeld? And, second when he went to Image he would have taken them with him, instead of making umpteen knockoffs of his own characters.

i also forgot to mention there's a pic of Liefeld cover of the #1 issue. i guess cable graduated from big sholder pads to a big backpack! hey cable, nice new backpack. dont forget your lunch and books! i use to love the Cable book. but it looks like he is gonna hit rock bottom. least he'll take deathstoke w/ him. sorry i meant deadpool.
