Is this a post ban deck? If so then I give it a 7.5/10. If not then I would give lower. D. Tribe doesn't fit in there. Even if you had a D.P. you shouldn't really use D. Tribe

Whoa Soul Ressurection, what is this use stupid cards day. THis card is actually a very bad idea since it brings back on the stipulation that it stays on the field. Now it sounds alot like Call, but Call brings em back in attack, Soul brings em back in defense and with DM having a stupid defense, 2100, that means for that turn he can't be as lethal as he should be. If you want recursion I recommend Miracle Restoring over anything else. It may cost 2 spell counters but can bring either DM or BB, meaning more possibilities.
ok, if ur gonna use maha valio, i'd put more equip spell cards in it, you know another axe of despair or 2,a mage power wouldn't hurt, or some field cards. Magical Scientist won't pull out ur dark paladin b/c M.S. special summons lvl 6 or lower, and D.P. is a lvl 8. if ur gonna run D.P., u'll want to play spell cards and spell counters like crazy. The only trap i'd keep out of all of those is miracle restoring. Add a Pitch Black Power Stone. Soul Ressurection is worthless under these circumstances, a Call of the Haunted and/or a Rope of Life would work better. Take out Magical Marionette and Spell Canceller, 2 Old Vindictives, Aqua Madoor, and Mystical Elf. Add Dark Elf, Royal MAgical Library, 2 Magician of Faith, 2 Apprentice MAgicians, (for your searchers and plus, u can add 1 spellcounter to any card that can take one when flipped)
On Spells and Traps, take out Poison of the Old Man, Malevolent Nuzzler, 2 Sakuretsu Armor, Shift, Draining Shield, Skilled Drain and D. Tribe.
Add Premature Burial, Snatch Steal, 2 Axe's, a Mage Power, Change of Heart, Dedication through Light and Darkness, Fusion Gate (field card, let's ya bring out any fusion monster),
and, uh, POt of Greed and Tribute to the Doomed, plus Emblem of Dragon Destroyer (bring a Buster Blader from your graveyard or deck to hand).
Anyway sorry about all of what I have just typed. I feel bad. If you want, check out "Scary Post Ban Spellcaster". So, i'd give your deck a 7/10 (no offense)
hmm, I like DM decks... let's have a look at this one...
1st- useless cards included, all these should be removed:
book of secret arts
sword of dark destruction
yami
poison of the old man
2nd- cards that actually work against YOU:
spell canceler
tower of babel
(remember that DM decks usually depend more on magics than any other deck if you want to get spell counters)
skill drain (almost every monster you run has a beneficial effect)
3rd- cards that should be replaced:
mystical elf and aqua madoor for 2 royal magical libraries (having the same def and a bonus effect is always good, and it's not like you'll attack with them anyway...)
crimson ninja for mystical elf (ninja isn't even a spellcaster and his effect isn't that good, you should run at least 2 mystical elfs)
4th cards that should be in a DM deck:
thousand knives (at least 1 if you can get it)
dedication through light and darkness (at least 1 if you can get it)
apprentice magician
magical scientist (if you manage to get TER, balter, senshi...)
5th cards that should be in ANY deck:
pot of greed
change of heart
premature burial
6th things you should take into account:
40 cards is enough for any deck
if you want spell counters you should substitute as many traps as you can for spells (ex: scapegoat instead of waboku)
notice that almost every card I suggested is either common or rare (except thousand knives, DDTLD and the scientist fusions), so you can get them fairly easily, but there are also some cards you should try to get and that would improve your deck, like breaker and mage power.
honestly, right now I would give your deck a 2/5, but it has potential to go further.
