The patrician of darkness control..him and obnoxious celtic guard with a lot of negations is pretty darn fun. toss in a mefist to attack under the gora turtle, and infinitely stopping them from hurting you. f-i-n-a-l decks CAN be good, but nobody listens to me...
Water Deck c_c
Is not really underrated, its becoming a bit more common.
Its quite powerful with easily summoned monsters hitting 2000+ With legendary ocaen on the field
I can name...so many... *gnashes teeth with glee*
Also will include why they're underrated
Human Wave Tactics - not much offense
Water/Fire - i'm not done perfecting mine so everyone can copy, j/k
Reflip (non deckout) - not sure why this is underrated, i sort of did a good one of these
Spirit deck - difficult to manage w/o strike ninjas or night assailants
Non-XYZ union deck - not enough good unions
Thunder deck - not enough thunder monsters
Dinosaur deck - not enough dinosaurs
Dark Scorpions deck - not quite strong enough attack power
you can make an underrated Wind/Control deck fairly easily. Slate warrior is one of the best 1900 attackers, Nin-Ken Dog is a solid Beatstick, Sonic Jammer is GREAT magic stopping, as is Lady Ninja Yae. Silpheed, Tornado Bird, and Winged Sage Falcos have return to hand/deck abilities, which combo very well with D.D. Designator. in the next set we're getting some rather powerful WIND monsters, aside from the new Harpie Ladies, so, i encourage you, try out some wind. three Slate Warriors and some Rising Air Currents will do you WONDERS. If worse comes to worse, a pair of Manticores will help
I love Wind, but I like Wind/Dragon as an underrated deck. Luster Dragons and Spear Dragons are ungodly hits with Rising Air Current! (2400) Sasuke Samurai (1 and 2) are sweet tech cards. Newt is the best Level 4 attacker Wind has! Could be up to 2900! and It's secong effect will let you kill anything! Armed Dragons give sweet power to this deck. Power that can rival Horus in strength. (Raigeki to Imperial Order) Gustaph is a 2500 w/ RAC that can't be hit by Bottomless (my meta's new favorite card) Little Winguard is a demi-god in Advanced. Hit's under MoP and block everything through it. Troop Dragons are about the best turn 1 drop in my book. Gray-Wing get's 2 hit's under LLAB and Gravity Bind at 13/18. Wind just keeps getting even better every time a set comes out! An old gem shows it's power in this deck, Kazijin! 2900 that won't ever be attacked!! Love it! Last, Slipheeds give you a feeling of Control in this game. people have completely stoped a large attack only because they would lose a card in thier hand.
Whats the thing with the Nin-ken Dogs? On budget, I guess. I love Spears any day.
I think that a true earth deck is underated, becouse i am the oly one i know with one, butt manticore decks just dont count, they are not true earth
I second that. Earth decks are incredibly strong and are exceptional when it comes to rushing. I mean, come on, this deck has a lot of attack power, so why not?
Earth support cards:
Berserk Gorilla(staple)
Gigantes(semi staple)
Gemini Elf(staple?)
Giant Rat(good support in certain Earth decks)
Milus Radiant(don't underestimate this thing!)
Nimble Momonga(annoyance, swarm, why not?)
The only reason why Earth decks were rare before was probably because it was not a chaos deck and couldn't match one in a duel.
I good underrated deck is one that focuses mainly on Gearfried the Butterfly Knight and Magical Marionette. Truely if done right with a lot of support cards and annoying cards like Ekibyo Drakmord and Wall of Revealing Light and perhaps Dark Master Zork with your Manju if done right it will win and don't worry about Magic Cylinder when you get things like Mega Ton Magical Cannon out there. With Witch and Sangan gone it's difficult to bring out Magical Marionette but just have three in there and sometimes you don't need to win with Butterfly Dagger- Elma.
you CANNOT use butterfly dagger with gearfree b-cuz butterfly dagger's effect is: when this card is destroy and sent to the graveyard while equipped to a monster, this card can returned to the ower's hand.
another words.... butterfly dagger onli comes back when itz equipped to a monster n the monster is destroyed then butterfly dagger comes back.

No, no that's not the case. If butterfly dagger is equipped to a monster and the monster is destroyed butterfly dagger does not come back because it was not destroyed. If butterfly dagger is MST'ed or destroyed by a card effect while equipped to a monster then it will come back. Get your facts straight buddy. Oh, and I think huge revolution decks are underrated.
DRAGONS!!!Severly underrated deck.they have the most s/t destroyers and defense negators (dragon's rage, powd, spear, etc) and their attack points are huge! They also have some nice speed enhancers like Super Rejuvenation and some swarm tactics like Lord of D+Flute and rituals.I can't figure out why they aren't hardly played and don't get much respect.
what is Newt? i admit i forgot the spear and luster dragons in my qnd discussion, but they both ARE expensive. a wind/dragon deck is going to become rather popular with the armed dragons once the mainstream realizes that they've been missing out on 2 GREAT 1900 attackers, tribute fodder (troop dragons), and a litle mini-chaos soldier (element dragon, even stronger if you can work a fire dragon of some sort into the deck, maybe the low-level horuses, thoguh tis a little redundant).
i personally, because of my metagame ALWAYS side deck one of the gate guardians. why? because they SHUT last turn DOWN,a nd Last Turn is popular here.
id say my old gbind insect controll. im thnikning of rebuilding it just to see how the meta has changed. i just loved my oponents expression when all my scarabs and locusts killed off my oponent in a few turns!
and i agree - earth is underrated. i used a poor mans earth deck as a test idea in a local tournie and managed to get a 3rd place with it. gigantes is an awsome earth monster - basicaly another heavy storm ( so imagine 4 heavystorms in one deck - overkill or just pure evil - ill let you be the judge). earth also have some good cards that can stratigicaly be taken advantage of - muka muka and enraged muka muka can be searched for by using giant rat - and injection fairy lilly can be searched out aswell. think lilly + shooting star bow.
water decks are becoming more common - but still they get under - rated. ive seen a water deck swarm an oponent with 2450 atk monsters like crazy, and big wave small wave only makes water decks better.
fire decks - ( sry for the long post) hmmm - fire decks are real powerfull. my friend uses a fire burn deck that annoys me like crazy. back burners and masked dragons, ubk's and the dreaded solar flare lock. fire decks should not be under rated - they should be feared.
and lastly but by no means least - machine.
machine decks are pretty good right now because of the gear golem, sword and sheild and limiter combo. but machines are also good to play with staunch defender. ojama lock thier field and play a staunch defender on a blowback with limiter removal. works wonders
i might post a fire or an earth deck on here soon - so watch this space!
I think Dark Magicians, skill drain, and water decks. They all have strong tactics, power cards, but why are they underated?
Are there any more underated cards?
DM decks are not even close to beeing underated.
skill drain decks are not so underated too.
water decks are the only underated decks that you said, and that is not intierly correct... water decks have been seeing alot of playing lately.
