Jinzo and Spell Canceller:Dinamic Duo or Together=Trouble?
Jinzo and Spel Canceller are both very interesting monsters, both have the same effect except for that one negates magic and one negates traps. Are they both better off by themselves or are they better as a team?
I don't think they belong together, unless you manage to create some special deck that can manage it.
Spell Canceller needs to be protected, and one of the easiest ways to do that is with a trap card like "Gravity Bind" or "Wall of Revealing Light", and Jinzo would stop that.
Spell Canceller and Jinzo are like positive and negative charges on a battery. The two will never be together since they don't synergize well in the same deck. I know this because I've tested Jinzo out in a Spell Canceller deck. Not a really nice result to make things short.
If you try this, just remember that they will also leave YOU without magic/trap power......... guess its just a very dangerous way to go........ unless you backing them both up with other monsters with great effects, like Exiled Force, Chaos Sorcerer, things like this, that can clean up the field for them to attack freely............
Heh, I remember seeing Jinzo and Spell Canceller on the field once. One of them attacked a Masked Dragon, which brought out another Masked Dragon, then the other attacker, which brought out Armed Dragon Lv 3. On the next turn Armed Dragon Lv 3 became Armed Lv 5, and the opponent discarded a Red Eyes to kill Jinzo, and attacked Spell Canceller with Armed Dragon Lv 5. So much for that, eh? I think if you choose to Run Jinzo, you have to cut down on traps, but with Spell Canceller you can load up on them. So you kind of have to make a choice. A good trap to use with Spell Canceller is Rare Metalmorph, since it boosts him but is not treated as an Equip Spell card. At least if he is 2300 atk he will last a turn or two.
I've mentioned this friend on realms a number of times before. His deck is centered around getting out the following.
Thousand Eyes Restrict
Jinzo
Spell Canceler
Goblin of Greed
Jowgen
Now, before that he'll of activated final countdown, or while its out he'll be drawing exodia, or he'll be giving you lava golem, or wave motion cannon will be looking at the turn count (yes, even with spell canceler out).
There are about 17 cards out that can get out of that combo.
You cant use magic
trap
discarding effects
special summon
attack
flip monsters
change possitions
(off hand, zaborg, exiled, blowback, barrel dragon, roulette barrel, more if you can think of them).
think that handles why the two are sitting ducks.......
If you are talking about that in referance to my above combo, thats what goblin of greed is there for. You cant discard as a cost while he's on the field.
Command Knight with some warriors..
an already active Skill Drain
Exiled Force
Spiritualism (just had to add it since it can't be negated, lol)
FLIP effects like Cyber Jar, Fiber Jar, Morphing Jar #2, Man-Eater Bug, Night Assailant, etc
D.D. Warrior Lady
D.D. Assailant
Guardian Sphinx
Prenegation (Confiscation, D.D. Designator, Abyssal Designator, etc)
Also, the chances of EVERYTHING getting out all at once is slim as well...even if a deck is centered around them...5 specific monsters and all.

Once again, I still hope that isnt in relation to my friend's game lock combo.
The only cards there that will do anything to this combo are exiled force (like I said above) and a skill drain, but if jinzo's out first, its over.
Command knight? hows she gonna attack?
Spiritualism? OK, returning which of those cards being magic or trap?
Flip effects? how would they flip with thousand eyes? Attacking? TER wont be attacking, and TER wont let you attack.
Like I said, there are about 8-17 some odd cards people play that can stop that combo if its on the field (two being played steadily). The game slows with TER and Jinzo out, and once spell canceler hits the field, they wait for exiled or tribe, once goblin is out, then its just exiled.
