Can I activate Divine Wrath when Dark Magician of Chaos is removed from the field to send it to the graveyard

Somehow, I would say no because Dark Magician of Chaos being removed from play when removed from the field is a condition, like Ha Des not being able to be special summoned, even if destroyed by another Ha Des. Netrep ruling even states that if Skill Drain is activate, its first and 2nd effect is negated, but not its third, which is the one about being removed from play
