Hi, (Sorry if these been asked before but I do try searching these forums before I ask).
I just have 4 basic rules of dueling questions:
1) During a Main Phase you can place card in the order of: Magic/Trap then Monster or you only can do Monster then Magic/Trap (i.e. I can do Dark Holes then Attack, CoH then Sacrifice, Monster Reborn then Sacrifice etc...), same question for normal summon and special summon (i.e. can I special summon then sacrifice?).
2) With Relinquish when you "suck" in a monster (and its equip. card), when does the monster and equip. cards go (my side or stay on the opponents side?
3) Also are you can only summon or sacrific once per turn (i.e. You CANNOT summon a monster in main phase 1, battle and then sacrific the monster in main phase 2)?
4) And Finally, With cards like swam of locas (where they can be flipped back down) are you allow to flip in the main phase 1 and the flip back down in main phase 2 (after battling)?
1. For Spells, you can play them when ever you wish. Quickplays that have been set a turn before can be activated at the start of a turn, to the Standby Phase, Main Phase 1, Battle Phase, Main Phase 2 and End Phase. Normal and Continous Spells must be activated in a Main Phase. You can/may activate/set/play them before or after you play a monster or set card.
2. The Obsorbed monster goes to your Magic and Trap card Zone, indicating that you have there ATK and DEF power.
3. Correct. One NORMAL summon (Includes summon and tribute summon) per turn. You can/may however Flip/Special/Reverse summon as many times as you wish in 1 turn.
4. Yes you can.
If you do not understand some of the words or terms used here (I.e. Reverse Summon) you can look them up on UDE's site. Also do a forum search before posting a thread to save space and redice spam.

Actually, in UDE terms, there is no such thing as "Reverse Summons" (it is basically just a direct translation from what Konami calls them). We call them "Flip Summons".
