Our tourney this weekend is mixed 500 pt, no range

I've put together several different teams but I still need some help, I could be facing SOD Superman(along with Spiral in one round) in 2 different rounds.
Here is one team I put together

My basic strategy is to bait the SOD into the open with either Logan or Bane then go to work on him with my outwitters and my other heavy hitters, plus all those Batman Enemy guys can share Banes AV.... which is going to be needed.

Please help me with this, I hate these types of teams and I'm always over looking something.

It looks pretty solid except for 1 thing.. E Rogue.

Rouge is.. well she's a piece of #### in ALL of her versions that should never be used. And I love Rogue *sighs*

Every time I play her she goes down hard. She's useful for.. medic killing. Which is really just a sad state of affairs.

You'd do better with a U Sauron if you have it for the same points.

Here's something I threw together for your purposes. I think you'll find it works a little better. You're sitting on no charge, and a few BFCs. I left in your outwitters as they are a good idea.

You've still got your two outwitters here, 2 BCFs with Charge now. (Logan's nice.. but he needs to be on his 3 click to be at optimal fighting efficiency.. not a good thing) 2 fliers, 3 free movers, and 2 Charging Super Strength Monsters.


WW Should taxi around Sabertooth or Doc, depending on how many of your hard hitters you want/need together. I'd try to keep them close but on seperate taxis for optimal damage efficiency. Doc can do up to 7 on a charge (perplexed and with a Heavy Object).

Facing Spiral with either team:
Spiral isn't a big threat. You just have to hit her first or she's going to turn one of your pieces into a sliced and diced bloody stain. However knowing Spiral's dial will save you.

Spiral can't afford to push unless she's running her legs off to a medic. Her Battle Fury means she can't be airlifted to a medic, so she's a chuck in and sacrifice piece, and the objective is to sacrifice her while eating a big cost fig on your team. Once you're hit her for 3 damage, she's not worth the 56 points your opponent invested in her.

SoD Supes:
First off.. don't be intimidated into playing stupidly. SoD Supes has eaten half your opponent's points on this team, and is likely to be his BIG BIG gun. Like most BFGs, the key to taking them down, is Outwit. Depending on where he is, usually Charge and Imperv are going to be your 2 biggest targets. Once he's on his Toughness clicks he's a lot less of a beast, and getting rid of CCE can become more of a proirity, especially if Doc or WW is still on their Invul/Imperv clicks.

Try not to hit him with BCF until after he's on toughness. The last thing you need is to roll low and then find your BCFer pounded into paste.

While you may not have all of these figures, you don't have a very hard hitting team. Lots of outwit yes but that won't save you.

Thanx Stormwind!! I didn't even consider the Charge/BCF combo. The low cost/high damage was what I was trying to go for. I like the team you put together, much better than mine, as I always hate these no range teams.
