can u chain to his effect?

player A: tribute summon for mobius
player A: targets 2 of 3 f/d s/t
player B: activates emergency provisions (not targeted by mobius) to send the target cards to gain 2000 lp

is that legal?

Yes, you can chain to Mobius' effect of destroying spells/traps. Do not know why you wouldn't be able to...

i dunno. i remember reading in a thread somewhere (i think it was the divine wrath thread) and it talked about how he gets his effect no matter what. so, i was thinking that if he gets his effect b/c of priority, the two s/t cards would be destroyed, and that was it. i couldn't chain the emergency provisions to it so i could benefit.

go figure...

When Mobius is summoned, his effect is put onto a chain. Since his effect is using the chain, you are allowed to chain to his effect.

In regards to Divine Wrath, you can chain Divine Wrath to his Effect, which would negate his effect, and destroy him before his effect has a chance to resolve.

Something to remember is no effect goes through until everything has resolved. So the first thing on a chain, will be the last to resolve if nothing negates it.
