Okay here is my question, and I have been wondering about it for some time. If Jinzo or Royal Decree is active on the field and you activate Bait Doll, what happens? Is the Trap automatically destroyed, due to being unable to activate, or is Bait Doll unable to activate due to the fact that no traps can be activated?

If "Jinzo" is face-up on the field and the effect of "Bait Doll" forces the activation of a Normal or Counter Trap Card, that Trap Card’s effect is negated and the Trap Card is destroyed. If a Continuous Trap Card is forced to activate by the effect of "Bait Doll" it will remain face-up on the field meaninglessly until "Jinzo" is destroyed.

Bait Doll is almost a staple in my area. Along with Curse of Anubis.

I don’t use it though. I usually get my Dark Balter or Ryu Shensi on the field very quickly.

I hear you dude. In my area a person without bait doll is like a person without a BLS EOTB.. lol
