i am wondering if this combo goes off.

the combo is magical thorn and needle worm.
will my opponent take 500 lp of damage for every card discarded to the grave due to needle worms effect?
the text on magical thorn says that when your opponents cards are discarded to the graveyard.

the errata says when your opponents cards are discarded from the hand to the graveyard....

i suggest looking up any rulings or errata on a card you have questions on before posting the question here.

GK Curse is correct, it kind of ruined the card...I have two, but nowhere to use them...!

It DID NOT ruin the card...Magic Thorn is very powerful with JUST the hand alone...

If you could run it with EVERY "discard" effect, it'd be restricted, along with Needle Worm and other cards and THEN be ruined...
