i have a few quick questions on him that i dont see an answer or on the rulings...
1. can u premature horus lvl6? (im thinking yes)
2. lets say opp has out level limit, and u bring out horus, will its effect activate before it gets dragged into def? (also thinking a yes, similar to jinzos trap negation ability)
3. can it be switched by using creature swap? (im not sure...leaning on no, but since level up works with lvl6, then maybe its a yes)
4. if #3 is a no...can creature swap even be played when horus is the only monster u (or your opp) has got?
5. anything else i should know that may not be obvious? rulings, or tricks
Yes, you can. Premature will then have No effect on Horus. If it is destroyed, Horus Lv6 remains on the field.

Yes. Horus Level 6’s effect is Continuous and does not use the chain. It will come to the field in attack mode and remain in attack mode.

No. Horus is immune to Spells and cannot be chosen for the effect of Creature Swap. If it is your only monster, neither you nor your opponent can activate Creature Swap.

Ooops, I answered this in number 3.

What do you need to know?
Waldo10032 – The Fiendish Duelist says:
“Hang with male chauvinist pigs and perverts, who point water pistols and women and squirt shirts. Been a bad boy since diapers and Gerberts. My first words were ‘bleep, bleep’ and ‘curse, curse’”
oh and one last question i have...if horus is the only monster u have, can u use
diff dimension gate or that old set spell card that forces both players to sac one monster? (sorry forgot name)........im thinking no since creature swap is a no, but just wantt to double check
Meriadoc...jus checking, was that a retorical mocking question? or a real one, if is real, yes u can use level up, thats why i had the questions bout creature swap and diff dim gate

thanx to all who helped
1. Yes, you can since Horus' "cannot be affected by magic cards" effect does not work while it's in the graveyard.
2. Its effect is continuous and never "triggers" so you can summon it while Level Limit is out and it won't switch to DEF.
3. No, you cannot. It's unaffected by ANY magic cards and that means ALL magic cards so if all you have is a FACE UP Horus LV6 on your field and your opponent has a f/d monster, you CANNOt activate Creature Swap as you do not have a legal target on the field.
4. read above
5. It can attack through Swords of Revealing Light.
"As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, it is unaffected by any Spell Cards."
Does that mean you can't use Level Up! on it?
Merry - yes, you can use Level Up! on Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6.
Horus 6 is "unaffected" by spells...unaffecting meaning the EFFECT of spell cards do not do anything to him.
However, keep in mind that you don't use Level Up! "on" a monster. All you are doing is tributing a monster to fulfill the COST to activate Level Up! Since the tribute is the COST, and not the EFFECT of Level Up!, Horus 6 is a valid choice to sacrifice. Remember, COSTS are different than EFFECTS. Horus 6 isn't affected by EFFECTS, but COSTS are different.....he's fair game for those.
