I need a one tribute, spellcaster-type monster for my dm deck. Which should i use? I honestly don't care if dark magician girl relates more to the theme; i like CCM better. I mean, honestly, TER is being abused like crazy with metamorph, and CCM is my answer to that. When Magical Dimension is released, he'll be easier to summon, well, so will DMG, but i think CCM is better. DMG will only be stronger if 2-3 DM's are in the grave, but still, she can be eaten by TER, destroyed by Night Assailant, killed by exiled force. you be the judge. what do you think?

CCM > DMG, totally. CCM has better stats, and a much better effect. Even though I'm biased in favor of the Marionnette myself. :D

Dark Magician Girl has a pathetic 2000 ATK and can power up by a pathetic 300 ATK points for each of her brothers or her chaotic brothers are in the graveyard.

1) The max she can power up to is 3200 and power isnt everything. 50% of the time she will stay at 2000. 30% of the time she will stay at 2300. A rare 20% of the time she will get to 2600, 2900, or 3200.

2) Why waste Dark Magicians in you deck space to pump up a pathetic monster.

CCM has 2400 which will be stronger than Girlie 80% of the time. Power isn't everything as CCM has a definite awesome ATK and a decent monster effect negation power.

1) Definite 2400. Not reliant of wimps to strengthen it.

2) Man Eater, Assailant, Exiled, and all that other blah blah blah cant stop it.

Straight comparison between the 2, CCM is better. The difference comes if you're building towards a strategy using DM. Then DMG might be better since you can also run Sage's Stone ro get DM himself out.

So really it depends on your deck's focus. No one builds a deck around DMG or CCM.
