can someone give me a play by play example of using the dark hex - fusion whatchamacallit to summon Dark flare knight (I have 2 dark magicians in my deck)
You Special Summon out Dark Magician Via Premature, Call or Skilled Dark
You Normal Summon out Dark Hex.
You Trubute Them Both from the field to bring out the DarkFlare Fusion.
ok so I cant play both dark magician and dark hex in the same turn via normal summoning.....?
No you couldn't because then you would be making two Normal Summons in one turn. :) If you could keep them both alive long enough, you could however, Normal Summon one during a turn then the second during a following turn.
why would you use poly on a dark hex? it has the poly effect built in.
No it doesn't. It only has an effect of being treated as a fusion substitute so you use Polymerization or Fusion Gate and you can use Hex instead of either Dark Magician or Flame Swordsman with the other and make Dark Flare Knight.
the cards say "tribute fusion-material monsters on the field including this card to special summon 1 D/L/E fusion monster from your fusion deck.
That is NOT "Fusion Summoning" them or "Fusing" in any way. That is special summoning from the Fusion Deck by tributing, which cannot be revived or special summoned from the grave or removed area
with polly its a regular fusion summon and can be coth without its like metamorphisis and once its gone its gone?
The only way to properly fusion summon a monster is with Polymerization and Fusion Gate and, unless it says otherwise, you can revive them from the graveyard or removed from play as long as it was fusion summoned.
Using the tributing effect of the Hex's is like using Metamorphosis, Magical Scientist, Summoner of Illusions, Cyber-Stein, etc.
They are special summoning them straight from the fusion deck through their own effects so if they go to the graveyard or get removed, you CANNOT special summon them back again since they were not "properly" summoned.
ok what if i use magical scientist to get out balter or something and it dies from something like ring or man eater bug....(for some reason balter died form man eater bug:P)

could i call or premature him?
No, you could not. Bringing a Fusion Monster out through the effect of Magicial Scientist is NOT Fusion Summoning the card and as such is NOT properly Special Summoning it. Due to this, it cannot be Special Summond from the Graveyard or the Removed From Play area.

If you actually read my post, you wouldn't ask this....
