Ultimate offering is a trap card that allows a player to summon/set a monster at a cost of 500 LP. Would the summon be considered a special summon because it was summonned by a trap card or would it still be considered a normal summon like the card text indicates?
I had a brain storm the other night and need to know the proper ruling for this card. It could really change my deck size.
It would be considered a normal summon just like the card says. It just allows a extra summon or set during your turn for 500 LP ok. Your welcome Lindsay. :)
Thanks for the information. There was a couple of cards that can't be normal summoned or have restrictions for summoning. So if the monster summoned can only be normal summoned and not special summoned because of the trap effect then my idea hit a snag some. Oh well...can't do anything about it.
As for the tribute summon, I knew about that one. Cards like metal dragon and cave dragon were the main concern. Their restrictions are tough but I thought if ultimate offering would work for them, then I could remove the Lord of D./Flute combo from my deck.
