ok Ive had this warrior deck for months and months now, and I alwasy beat my brother, but now he has a new dragon deck complete with kaibaman+blue eyes, king dragun and armed dragons.
with dargun's effect it seems like everything I throw at him is useless, besides dive wrath......
what other magic, trap and effects defeat dragun and other dragons, I dont get the concept of what targets and what doesnt....so its really hard for me to figure it out
Magica Cylinders and Sakuretsu Armor are targetting traps and will not work against King Dragun. Mirror Force is non-targetting and will take care of that nasty fusion
Cyber Jar
Morphing Jar #2
Torrential Tribute
Bottomless Trap Hole
Adhesion Trap Hole
Reflect Bounder
D. D. Warrior Lady
Judgment of Anubis
Creature Swap
Yomi Ship
Des Counterblow
Bottomless Shifting Sand
Hammer Shot
Fissure
Smashing Ground
Fairy Box
Mirror Force
Are all examples of non-targeting effects that can get by King Dragun.

If your intent on countering your brother's dragons, you could always just deck/side some dragon capture jars. Dragun has low defense, and so do some other dragons, so you can probably pick off the draguns with your warriors, then use whatever you would use normally to kill the stuff with more defense than you can handle.
Steps to determine if a card targets:
1) If you (the player) choose 1 or more card(s) when you ACTIVATE the Spell, Trap, or Monster Effect.
2) If you activate a card effect that specifically works against 1 card, and the activated card cannot resolve correctly without that 1 card (i.e. Draining Shield, Magic Cylinder, and Trap Hole).
Steps to determine if a card does NOT target:
1) If the card doesn't fall into one of the above categories.
2) If the card(s) chosen for the effect are chosen at RESOLUTION (i.e. Creature Swap and Last Turn).
3) If you or the card do not choose any specific card(s) (i.e. Tribe-Infecting Virus, Smashing Ground, and Bottemless Trap Hole).
4) If the card(s) chosen are used as a COST for an effect (i.e. Lava Golem).
• "Adhesion Trap Hole" works against "a monster or monsters", so "Adhesion Trap Hole" does NOT target.
Bottomless Trap Hole:
• This card can remove from play multiple monsters at once, if they are Summoned simultaneously. Since this card can affect multiple monsters, it does not target.
Trap Hole, however, works against one monster; can only ever affect one monster; and since you choose when to activate it, you choose the monster at activation, so therefore Trap Hole targets.
Gilford, Raigeki and Lightning Vortex DO NOT target since they affect the entire field and not just one monster on it.
