If you Trunade your opponent's Big Bang Shot equipped to a monster, does that count as being removed from the field so that it will remove the monster from play?

When a card leaves the S/T zone for any reason. Whether it be because it was sent back to the hand or it was Destoryed it still leaves the field. And the effect of removing the monster from play will happen. The removing the equiped monster from play can happens inbetween chain links F.Y.I.
