How can youy kill a stealthed character. I know Pulse Wave under the new rules would do it, but other than that -in both sets of rules- how can you kill a person who is in stealth?
If there isn't a way of killing them until they move would it be possible to force a draw by just leaving all figures in stealth for 50mins -or whatever. Don't worry the last bit was purely hypothetical - just wondering whether Heroclix Stalemate was possible.
Also if possible could someone give clarification on the Minions of Doom team ability?
But most importantly how do you kill a stealthed player? Especially with Vet Green Arrow - his ten range from stealth is a killer!
Superman allies see through all hindering terrain thereby negating stealth.
Force Blast automatically hits, so you can knock GA out of stealth without issue.
Lots of flyers have movements higher than ten, use them to taxi a heavy hitting Invulnerable or Impervious character next to GA. Remember he's grounded so anyone base to base with him forces him to attack using close combat so RCE becomes useless (and therefore couldn't hurt the heavy hitter).
Those are the most common, but there are other stealth fighing strategies as well.
Also I've got a funny feeling I might be doing this stealth thing wrong. If you are at close combat can you attack a stealthed figure. I always assumed you couldn't due to no line of fire...
But does it only treat the base as blocking terrain for ranged attacks, not close combat attacks?
Got a funny feeling I'm going to be feeling daft within two posts time...
Stealth (and the Batman Ally Team Ability) does not stop Close Combat Attacks. They only cause Hindering Terrain to be treated as Blocking Terrain for Line-of-Fire. This will only affect Ranged Combat.

Taxi a big hitter like V Bane (85points) next to him. Under the new rules GA will get the first hit but so what. Bane has toughness and can soak up GA's measly 1 click (as GA can not fly he can not use RCE against an adjacent opponent in CC).
If GA is foolish enough to stay his 16 Def against Bane's 10 attack gives you a 72% chance of landing 5 clicks on him.
If GA has to push to flee bane (assuming he rolls a 4-6) the click he has to take removes his stealth. If he fails to break away then Bane will most likely lay him out.
Minions of Doom (along with Legion of Super Heroes and Indi BPRD) can use the team ability of any friendly player, at anytime. They can only use one ability per action.
For example is you had Booster Gold who is JLA and Batman who is Bat Ally in your team. A Doombot could fly BAts using the JLA ability therebye not using up one of your actions and then change to Bat Ally team ability to gain stealth once Bats has be put down.
You can make a close combat attack on a stealth character, but not ranged.
Another suggestion is using someone w/ hypersonic speed, run in, take a shot, run back out of range. Won't work on Batman Team ability, because the stealth is permanent, but it's a nice tactic on Green Arrow or Deathstroke.
Also, drop a TKer next to Arrow, and TK him out of hindering.

Any Superman ally (or WC copying the TA) with range can make the attack.
Per the PAC on Superman Ally:
Quote
Characters on this team ignore the effects of hindering terrain (including team abilities that grant hindering terrain bonuses) on movement and combat.
Figs like Green Arrow or Unique Wolverine (IC) only have Stealth for a few clix. If you can damage them a bit with Hypersonic Speed or Close Combat, you can then fire away from range once they lose Stealth.
As far as Wildcard Stealth goes, folks have already named a lot of the main ways to deal - Force Blast, TK attacks. Also, Mind Control can be helpful to have the target fig leave it's Stealthed perch.
idiodix, I didn't mean to imply that Superman TA didn't give LOF, I was just saying that you can use close combat on a stealth character, and outside of Superman TA, you cannot range attack a fig in stealth.
If the character is standing on an object instead of fixed hindering terrain, then a character with super strength can pick the object up leaving them exposed. Used to be this was easiest with characters having Leap/Climb, Phasing, or HSS and Super Strength, cause figures with any of these combos didn't have to worry about break away. Now with the new rules, a hovering figure (that's already moving) with Super Strength can grab the object and keep going. V Green Arrow makes this a little tricky because of his ten range. He is often able to get a shot off before you can get close.
I know I sound like a broken record if you've seen some of my other posts, but my favorite solution to V Green Arrow is Blue Beetle. He is a grounded figure with toughness, so V Green Arrow can't do any damage to BLue Beetle without outside assistance. BLue Beetle also has Force Blast to knock Green Arrow out in the open.
