It depend on what kind of DM deck you want to make there are TONS.
The following cards are compatible with most DM decks:
-Dark Magic Attack
-Skilled Dark Magician
-Diffusion Wave Motion
-Tribute Doll
The following cards are used in a 'Pure DM' deck:
-Dark Magician Girl
-Sage's Stone
-Dedication through Light and Darkness
-Thousand Kinives
-Dark Magician of Chaos
-Time Wizard
-Dark Sage
The following cards can be used in a Dark Paladin deck:
-Buster Blader
-Skilled White Magician
-Emblem of Dragon Destroyer
-Dark Paladin
-Miracle Restoring
-Polymerisation
-DNA Surgery
There's nothing to see tha the two categories are not interchangable but nonetheless it's not common to see DMG/DMOC in the same deck as Dark Paladin.
Other decks include Dark Flare Knight/Mirage Knight (use with the Dark - Hex Sealed Fusion) and Sorcerer of Dark Magic (DMG + Sage's Stone provides an additional combo for getting out DMOC as well as the classic double Chaos Sorcerer)
You can be VERY creatuive wuth a DM deck. I tried it in a tourney - got KOed first round but it was very bad and lacked most of the essential DM cards. I actually had the perfect combo - until my opponent Bottomless Trap Holed my DM... I also tried a creative BEWD + Dark Paladin deck for casual play - again, failed miserably...
But there's nothign to say a good DM deck can't win tournaments - it's just mine were pathetic.
If you're REALLY feeling lucky you can attempt to use the various special summonign effects to get three DM out, then use Delta Attacker... Don't try it in a tourney but it would be interesting to see how that deck did in casual play...
