In my deck "Reinforcements of magic and technology" (v.2.0)

whenever I could not get a fast kill from a opponents lock I noticedd that that I usually have about 6-9 monsters of mine removed from play.

So after considering running return from the different dimension I made a somewhat odd relevation. If I use return from the different dimension to return a out of play jinzo among the other monsters. Jinzo's effeect as I understand it does not work while he's off the field (of course) but once he's summoned he then negates all trap effects. Does this mean that jinzo will negate the side effect of return from the different dimension still present on the field (returning the monsters summoned by it's effect back to dd at the end of the turn), In a similar way that jinzo frees itself from call of the haunted.


Could someone clear this up for me?

Negativo.

Jinzo, for some reason, doesn't negate the second effect of Return From The Different Dimension but wierdly enough, DOES negate the second effect of Rope of Life.

The reason is because it is a cost.... that's why the effect is NOT negated

But the shouldn't the card already have activated and resolved by then? Sort of like chaining Waboku to Call of the Haunted when it's bringing back Jinzo?
