CYBER END DRAGON
(How many CED abbreviated cards are we getting?)
I have been brought around with Cyber Dragon, originally not seeing anything special about it, and his special summon and upon closer inspection I have seen the light.
This is easy. It really only requires two cards. You heard me. TWO CARDS.
Power Bond + Barrel Behind the Door.
All three Cyber on the field or in the grave. (So chances are, its late game)
Power Bond out the Cyber End Dragon. This increases its attack to 8000. Problem is, Power Bond does 8000 damage to you at the end phase. You see... That is a BIG problem... Unless you either killed your opponent or have a Barrel set on the field. Then its not a problem for you, its a problem for your opponent. ^__^
This can also be done with Cyber Twin Dragon as well to do 5600 damage to your opponent. 5600 double attacker on the field and 5600 life hacked from your opponent. Fun fun!
And that is why I don't wanna use Power Bond in a Cyber End Dragon deck if needed unless it's suitable as a OTK kind of thing like you said, Barrel Behind the Door. Polymerization is a better and much safer card to use than Power Bond.

Unfortunately, this will NOT work....
why???
Look at the ruling for Graverobber...
"Barrel Behind the Door" cannot be activated against cards that do not inflict damage when the card resolves, such as "Graverobber", which inflicts damage later.
Power Bond does the same thing. It doesn't inflict the damage at activation, it activates when the card resolves at the end of the turn, at which point, it is too late to activate Barrel Behind the Door.
I believe they made Power Bond this way just to PREVENT such an OTK from occuring.
::Glare:: Fine... Then throw in Ring of Destruction...... It still works its just no where near as easy and not nearly as new.
I have a question though, what about the magic card that is like Barrel (OCG only). I'm not sure what it's called, but its an Instant Magic that returns Damage. Is it ruled the same? (Or is my mind just making up a card completely)
EDIT: I'm not.... Here it is.
GB7-B01
CURSE OF PAIN
Instant Magic
Negate one instance of the damage of an effect of a card
controlled by your opponent, and do that amount of damage to your
opponent.
Ultra Rare
(Edo)
Lets compare that to Barrel.
Barrel Behind the Door
Counter Trap
When an effect that inflicts damage to Life Points is activated (except Battle Damage), switch the damage you receive to your opponent's Life Points.
Curse of Pain WOULD work if it didn't just negate damage done by an opponent.... So all is lost.

Won't make any difference really...
Curse of Pain
Quickplay Magic
Negate an opponent’s card Effect that does damage, and do that same amount of damage to your opponent.
Ya, I editted my last post as you posted that. I wasn't sure of the effect. Thats why I asked. Found it though and meh.... I hadn;t planned on using it, personally, just thought it would have been neat to see.
If you like cyber end dragon, i have an otk with him i thought of the moment i saw him. It requires more than two cards, but with a deck built around it it could work out just fine.
You can use either Mother Grizzly or last will to get out Koitsu, our 10 star Union friend. Cyber End Dragon is also 10 stars. Convenient Coincedence eh? get him out with a meta and attack with a limiter, and you're doing HUGE damage that turn. throw a curse of anubis into the mix and it's otk for sure. simple enough
reguardless..... this is only 2 cards.... still 8000 damage.... not like you WOULDNT play heavy b4 the attack.... :tired: :tired: :tired: :ermm: :ermm:

Well, the same is said about the big BEUD combo, but there's still the exact same problems with the combo (cept BEUD is stronger overall).
