Hey yall!
Upon the releas of Dark Crisis, the Strike NInja was a highly anticipated card due to its popularity from the tv series. However, its effect has never let it see much play. However, a combo with D. D. Scout Plane aids the activation of Strike Ninja's effect and adds 2 monsters to your field. And can be very useful in Chaos decks, etc. But is the advatnage of having 2 monster on the field in attack mode good, considering that the Scout PLane only have 800 atk pts?
In most cases, yes, because of when DD Scout Plane gets special summoned (End Phase). When your turn begins, you already have tribute fodder. You may or may not notice, but Strike Ninja decks have (or at least can have) a few more tribute monsters than other decks. Scout Planes help bring them onto the field. In addition, 800 ATK is out of the range of Bottomless Traphole or Regular Traphole. An Ectoplasmer on the field almost guarantees that you'll be doing damage with them while they are on the field, instead of them being a LP liability when it becomes your opponent's turn.
And if you are worried about the position when it hits the field, simply put it in defense position when if becomes your turn.
Seach the tactics section. There's a Strike Ninja Tactics somewhere which may give more reasons.
