There it is. A field control/bounce deck. The only card I'm missing is Dark Hole, becaue SOMEHOW I have no extras. Once I get another, it'll go in for either Nobleman or the second Terraforming.
BES Crystal Core (obviously) works with ALO, allowing me to normal summon it without needing to tribute anything. Abyss Soldier (while a great monster on its own) allows me to reuse Crystal Core as much as I want, given that I have a Water monster in hand.
i really like the look of this deck, but i feel like its begging for Levia Dragon and Amphibious Bugroth...also U should add gravity bind x2...since almost all your monsters will go under it, its bound to annoy your opponent...i love penguin soldier in water decks, and gives more reason to run Gravity bind!!!
-Sangan
-Bes Crystal Core x1
-Nightmare Penguin x1
I too think this could use a Levia since it does help your quest for field control. Bugroth should be added if you want some big hits here and there, as it does not contribute to field control. Also, some Water Art-Aoi can greatly help you control the hand. If I had to suggest removing something, I'd say Morphing Jar, a Crystal Core, and a Dust Tornado. Hopefully, you are side decking some Noblemen.
Good job on getting to Abyss Soldiers. Must have been hard to get them.
You have plenty of bounce, the Penguin Soldier isn't very useful after it's been flipped, and it does nothing to help you, except bounce 2 that one time (unless you have Tsukuyomi). You might as well go for something that can boost your water monsters than a flip effect. Mermaid Knights are perfect for your deck, and I think having a second copy might not be a bad idea.
Lots of suggestions for Levia Dragon. That's a monster better suited for its own variant. I want to keep ALO out with this deck, while Levia Dragon would get rid of it. It isn't the universal Water monster that everyone sees it as.
Yatalocked- Bind would stop Crystal Core, one of the core monsters of the deck (no pun intended).
Prism-Aoi was considered, but due to the utter lack of hand control in here, I don't see a point in adding it. If I were using Confiscation and a few other hand control cards, I'd add it, but not just on its own.
x48- ditto.
ivie-ditto...again.
This deck looks pretty random to me, and I may focus it when I get a chance. I originally had a Tragedy in here, which works great with Crystal Core, as well as Aqua Spirit and Enemy Controller should I choose to use them.
so let me get this straight.. you just want to.. bounce the monsters?... You're missing an imporatant strategy
-2 Smashing Grounds
-1 Book of Moon

My friend did a deck like this before the ban, we called it the "Hunter" deck.. basically it was "PULL!" *BANG!*, bonce and kill, fun stuff, pretty efficient. He used Mind Crush as well but lets not bother with that right now, hmm?
I'm not sure where, but fit in MORE water monsters. Remember, Sinister is gone. You should try and get your monster count up to 18-20, and have more water monsters than everything else combined to make abyss soldier effective. This will nearly garuntee your direct attacks, and you'll be able to rush your opponent pretty efficiently for the win.
