I suggest tripling the Gearfreed's for speed, and doubling the Swordmaster's.

Warrior Lady isn't really needed.

Take that bunch of crap from the Warrior Structure out, or buy another one to abuse it more. Single copies of Command Knight and Mystic Lv.4 suck on their own; I personally use 2 of each inmy Gearfreed Deck.

Exarion has lost its luster a long time ago...

Gearfreed Deck with 1 Release Restraint?

Triple it, or maybe double. But 1? Im sorry but thats stupid--calling it a Gearfreed Deck.

I also suggest doubling the Trunade's; Warriors were meant 2 be aggressive, and getting rid of Traps is crucial. Either that or U can go the Royal Decree route.

Where's Dark Hole in Main Deck?

Dont run Decree when ur running other Traps; Most often than not it will just backfire on U. Its not like Imperial Order, where U can use a bunch of Spells and maindeck Imperial.

More Equips! I find Phoenix Blade amazing. If Im topdecking and I draw a Vortex with my Phoenix Blade in my GY, my problems are solved. I'd like to think of Phoenix Blade as a powered down, more balanced Sinister.

Hi there i used to play warrior and would recommend them to anyone looking a solid decktype. There are a few different kinds, swarm with marauding captain and toolbox utilizing reinforcement of the army. This deck seems to be a mixture of both with gearfried the swordmaster as the big hitter, personally i am not a fan as he is too hard to summon give the space to mobius or jinzo as cyber dragon doesn't help in a deck where you are aiming to maintain a healthy field presence.

Some monster cards that i would recommend for this deck are Zombyra the dark, greenkappa (a flip effect warrior which when flip enables you to destroy up to 2 m/t,useful search for Reinforcement if your opponent has a large backfield) D.D. Assailant and Don Zaloog, you could even give Freed the Matchless General a go.


The spells are generally fine but i would recommend some near staples for this format that have been left out like Confiscation, Premature Burial, Nobleman of Crossout and Smashing Ground. The traps need a slight bit of work, i would drop the three waboku for a start. If you want to go down the royal decree route you need to put in another one and i would also recommend Dust Tornado.

You should definitely use more equips in the deck...make more use of Swordmaster's effect...

Axe and United We Stand aren't anywhere near enough (Premature and Snatch don't really count).

Other equips like..another Axe or 2, another Fusion Sword Murasame Blade, Mage Power, Gravity Axe - Grarl, Black Pendant, Metalmorph, Blast with Chain and such (yes, it counts Traps and monsters that "equip" to it)

Add stuff like..Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu to get equips from your deck to your hand

Fairy of the Spring to get them back from the graveyard

Tailor of the Fickle to switch equips to Gearfried if he's not out yet, but comes out after you use the equip (nice surprise).

Maybe side deck a couple of Armed Samurai - Ben Kei's...
