I have a question that needs answering. Which one of my decks should I use? I have it narrowed down to three choices: zombie, warrior or my toon deck. Please help me decide to which one I should use. :cheeky:
First I have to ask, what level of competition are we talking about here? Is this to play your friends with, to take to Worlds, or somewhere in the middle?
Well, Warriors are by far the best, although Zombies are respectable as well. Toons just don't have enough support to be playable, but if you are just playing with your friends, they are good for a few laughs.
Basically...
if Winning > Fun then
go with Warriors
else if Fun > Winning then
go with Toons
End If
Toons actually do have good support...problem is the people not trying to use them in the first place...
They have probably the best tutor in the game (Toon Table of Contents), but unfortunately the best use for it is deck thinning. Not being able to attack the turn they are summoned absolutely DESTROYS their playability.
That's why people have to think outside the box if they want to be able to use them better.
Sometimes they may actually have to use cards that AREN'T broken (*GASP!!!*)
Anyways...that's why I like Toon Black Magician Girl...she doesn't suffer that weakness.
If you are saying that Toons can be competitive against...uh...let's say an Ojama Deck, then I'd have to agree on that. However, a good player with a Toon Deck will never consistently beat a mediocre player with a Warrior Toolbox deck.

I bet to differ there...see...HOW the deck is used also counts on how good it will against others...The player can have good cards, but if he doesn't know how to use them effectively, then chances are that he'll lose in the longrun.

I know this from first hand experience as well
Of course that is true.
I didn't say to put the Warrior deck in the hands of some noob who is running off at the mouth while he is holding the cards upside-down. But anyone with a decent understanding of the game with a Toolbox Deck will be able to beat anyone with a Toon deck.
Tons of the duelists I dueled with the Toons had decent understandings and good cards (using them just the way I see people use them in today's game) and..well..they lost...
